Soo Jung—or rather—Krystal, smiles across the table at her friend. She, however, gives her a rather strange look as she leans into the table. “Krys, you got a job as a maid? You?” she asks incredulously, her eyebrows raising questioningly. Krystal laughs and crosses her legs as she leans farther back into her seat. The other girl doesn’t seem to find the situation nearly as funny as Krystal.

“Why? Are you jealous?”

The girl scoffs and sends her a sidelong look. “Jealous? No. I just don’t understand how, you, being as impatient as you are, could get that kind of job.” she mumbles, stirring the coffee set in front of her absently. Krystal rolls her eyes and flips her hair over her shoulder.

“What can I say? I’m charming,” she says haughtily, causing the other girl to roll her own eyes. “Plus, this job is important. It’s my, how do you say, big break?.” she continues, tapping her fingers on her thighs and exciting the girl sitting across from her.

“You do you know that you’re becoming a maid, right? Not an idol?”

Sending an annoyed glance towards her friend, Krystal stands up and straightens her shirt out before smiling once again. “Of course,” she drawls. Flipping her hair over her shoulder—her signature move—Krystal moves to leave but then pauses. “But that doesn’t change the fact that I’m perfect and you’re...not.”

Friend #15; gone.
