What should i say.... i love the dvelopment in lu's character like tbh.... AH FIRST OF ALL I WAS CURIOUS ABOUT WHAT HIS CONNECTION WAS WITH YEOL AND HOW DO THEY HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH EACH OTHER AND IT TURNS OUT YEOL.... LIKED HIM BACK IN FLIGHT SCHOOL???? AH THATS REALLY CUTE.... is destiny that yeol was assigned to exo ship???? Brb crying
But ofc it wasnt all sunshine and school friends reuniting i really love lu's character conflict tbh i cant explain it but i love how he had anxiety and fear of heights and he's vulnerable yet strong??? I also love that he's so closed off and untrusting because of his father's story that was a really important factor of his chracter and it took so much for him to give yeol a chance TT plus whats really good was even when yeol was captured he didnt go into the mission head first like a desperate idiot. Im not saying yifan is one or any of them are. What im saying is that most ppl would expect luhan to be so overly willing and overly eager to save the person he loves. But thats not what luhans character is like in this fic. Even when he was literally in the enemy ship already and breaching property he was still thinking about how reiforcements wouldve been better and how t was so easy not to care about the enitre incident in the first place. And even with this conflicting idea in his head when he saw yeol he was relieved as and did everything he can just so they dont end up killing each other
In the end i just love how they both, and all of them thankfully, ended up safe and together. Idealistic sure but thats the kind of ending i was looking for the very moment yeol put a gun to lu's chest.
