“Wh—what did you—?” Hoseok covered the younger one’s mouth before he could yell even more. “Shh!!! Shut up, Jungkook!”

Jungkook’s eyes were wide and wild as he tried to talk through his covered mouth. You looked down at Santa Clause and gulped when you realized that it was indeed Bang PD-nim, with his blonde hair and rosy cheeks, wearing a Santa costume. "Sh*t, hyungs.” You muttered. “You guys are screwed.”

“Watch your mouth, Y/N.” Jin scolded and you bit your lip to keep from saying more.

“But it’s true.” Namjoon said as he ran a hand through his hair in frustration. “We are so screwed.”

“We’re going to loose our jobs!” Jimin exclaimed, kneeling down and putting his hands in the air. Jin rolled his eyes and knocked him at the back of his head. “Ow!” He whined. “Hyung!”

“Look guys,” you said. “Just wake him up, it’ll be fine.”

“Don’t we need to call an ambulance or something?” Jungkook implied as Hoseok released his hold on him. He looked at Bang PD then glanced at you helplessly, “Noona!”

“What?!” You asked. “What do you guys want from me?!”

“We called you in for a reason.” Jimin said. He was sitting on the armrest of the sofa, swinging his right leg back and forth.  “You always know what to do.”

You stared at him for a while until the underlying message in his statement hit you. “Did you just imply that I’m used to these crimes?”

“Aren’t you?” Yoongi grinned and you threw a pillow at him. “No!”

“I doubt that.” Jimin muttered and you glared his way, the boy cowering almost instantly.

“Okay!” Namjoon said with a heavy sigh. “We need to figure out what to do with him.”

“Well, we can’t wake him up.” Hoseok said.

“Why not?”

“Cause he’s going to ask questions.” He reasoned and you practically felt your eyes rolling to the very back of your sockets—way back. “He’s going to ask questions whether you wake him up or not!” You exclaimed, pointing at their CEO who was still passed out cold on their living room floor like a big red carpet against the wooden floors.

“I think it’s best if we take him out of the floor first.” Jin said and you smiled, thinking how finally someone was starting to make good decisions around here.

~~~
“On three… One… Two—“
“Wait!” Taehyung yelled. “Are we carrying him on three or after three?”
“On three!” The boys yelled in unison.
“Okay!” Taehyung yelled. “I was just asking. Sheesh!” He scoffed as he crouched down to take hold of their boss’ leg.
“Alright boys,” you said as you sat leant on the wall by the window, watching with amusement. “Ready?”
“Why aren’t you helping?” Jimin asked.
“I don’t need to. You can totally handle it Mr. I-got-ABS.” You flexed your muscles and Jimin smirked. “You were so totally checking me out during MAMA.”
“Yeah your fly was open.”
“What?!” Jimin’s eyes widened and you chuckled at how easily he believed you.
“Can we save this for later?” Yoongi grunted. “I really wanna get this over with and get some eye-shut.”
“Okay on three!” Jin said. “One…Two…Three!” The boys grunted and carried Bang PD-nim, their faces turning into a mask of pain and were bleeding red.
“Oh my—”
“Gaaah!!”
“Hurry hurry! My arms are gonna give in!”
You covered your mouth to keep from laughing, willing yourself not to take out your phone and take a photo or a video.
But the temptation was too strong.
“Y/N, seriously?!” Namjoon exclaimed when he saw you taking a video with your phone, laughing like crazy.
“Yah! Y/N!” Hoseok gasped as they moved two steps forward towards the couch.
“This is too good to pass out.” You giggled. “You’ll thank me one day!” When they finally got him on the couch, the boys looked like they just ran a marathon or did a two-part concert without an intermission—back to back… to back.
“You guys are awesome.” You chuckled as you watched them with your arms crossed, sitting and panting on the floor.
“Aww~ thank you—” Jimin smiled up at you.
“Except you.” You said and Jimin pouted as the rest of the boys laughed along with you; the atmosphere in the room becoming happy—just like it always was whenever you were all together.
All of a sudden you felt a heaviness in your chest at the sight of their smiling faces and rambunctious ways as they teased one another. The boys had become a big part of your life, each of them becoming like blood brothers—your family.
You frowned on the inside, thinking how much you’re going to miss them.
~~~

All of you decided that it would be best to just wait it out. Bang PD was going to wake up sooner or later so it’s best to just wait for him to wake up and act all innocent like you all had no idea what he was doing in their living room couch.

That was Yoongi’s plan, of course; Yoongi who had deliberately retreated back to his bedroom to go to back to sleep again.

You were sitting down on the floor, watching Hoseok and Jimin playing games on their phones when you noticed that someone was missing. Yoongi was in the bedroom, Jin and Namjoon were in the kitchen, Jungkook was fast asleep beside you on the floor, snoring away, while—

“Where’s Tae?” You asked and Jimin shrugged, too busy with his game to pay any attention to your question. You craned your head, your eyes searching for him around the dorm but he was nowhere to be found. You stood up with a grunt and started looking for him, crossing over Jungkook’s torso to walk over the other side of the room.

Walking towards their bedroom, you thought that it was the one place he could be in but to your surprise, he wasn’t there either.

“Tae?” You called out just as a shadow near the balcony window caught your eye. You entered the room and went straight towards the balcony.

Taehyung was sitting down at one of the chairs with his leg up and across. The night air was extremely cold and he was only wearing a long sleeved shirt and shorts. You shook your head before going back in to grab a couple of blankets from their beds.

Going out, you sighed and placed the blanket over his shoulders, wrapping it around him. Taehyung jumped at the contact but immediately relaxed when he saw that it was just you.

“Are you trying to kill yourself?” You muttered as you wrapped the banket around him. “It’s below 10 degrees, Tae!”

“You know I always liked the cold.” He smiled and you felt yourself sigh. “Now, you on the other hand hate it so—”

You grabbed a chair and moved it beside him before sitting down and wrapping yourself up in a blanket as well. “So I should just shut it and deal with it.” You looked at him and saw that he was a bit down. You pouted and poked his cheek. “What’s wrong Taehyung-ah?”

“Nothing’s wrong.” He gave you a small smile but it didn’t reach his eyes like it usually does. “I’ve known you since pre-school, Tae.” you snorted. “Don’t even try lying to me.”

“I didn’t do anything.” He blurted and you almost laughed at his outburst. Taehyung was always so sensitive with these kinds of things. He never liked being accused of something he didn’t do or teased a lot for that matter. “I know you didn’t.” You said as you ruffled his hair.

“I didn’t do—” he paused when your words sunk. “You do?” He looked at you with a surprised—yet funny face.

You nodded with a smile. “We all do. You know the hyungs are just teasing you, right?”

“It’s annoying.”

“What’s new?” You shrugged and he smiled; a real smile this time.

“How are you, Tae?”

“I’m fine.” He answered, knowing the drill. The two of you were always like this when you were alone: asking random questions about each other just to catch up. The great thing about it was you get to be completely honest with each other. No matter how bad or embarrassing it was, it doesn’t matter… You can tell each other anything and everything.

“You don’t look fine.”

Taehyung glanced at you and sighed, playing with his fingers. “It gets tiring sometimes.” He said. “I mean I love what I do, I really do. But sometimes, I feel like giving up.”

You nodded, prodding him to go on. “I miss my family.” He admitted; his voice filled with wistfulness and sadness. “I miss my appa, my omma, my dongsaengs—”

“I know. I miss my parents too.” You said in the hopes of making him feel that he’s not alone. A comfortable silence hung between the two of you and you closed your eyes and tried to remember this moment. You were gonna miss it—

“I never really got to thank you, Y/N.” He suddenly said and you looked at him with your eyebrows raised. “Hmm? For what?”

Taehyung looked at you and you couldn’t help but stare at his beautiful features; the curve of his lips, the lines of his jaw, the shadows creasing his face as the moonlight glowed above you. He was beautiful and you knew it, but you were too busy playing best friend to even notice the deeper feelings you had for him.

“For being a great friend.” He said, his gaze sincere. “You’ve always been there for me. For us.” He nudged his head towards the dorm. “When we became a group, I thought we were going to drift apart because of how busy we got. But we didn’t and I’m glad.”

You smiled at him then looked up at the sky, trying hard not to let your tears fall. “You know I’ll always be here for you guys.”

You felt something soft touch your cheek and when you looked to you right, Taehyung had his hand cupping your cheek, his thumb brushing away a tear that slipped from your eye. “Why are you crying?”

“I’m not.” You scoffed as you moved your face away from his hand. “Tough girls like me don’t cry.” You sniffed and Taehyung continued to stare at you, which had somehow became unnerving.

“Stop that.” You said.

“Stop what?”

“Stop looking at me like that!” You slapped his chest and pushed him away lightly. A grin started to form on his lips as he asked, “Like what?”

“Like that!” You explained as he leaned closer. “With your pretty eyes and—”

“You think I have pretty eyes?” He said and you blushed deeply but tried to hide it by scoffing. “I think your fans would disagree and say that ‘pretty’ is an understatement.”

“That’s too bad.” He drawled as he leant back on his seat. “Cause I think you have pretty eyes too.”

You looked at him, a little confused whether or not to take what he just said seriously. “Are you flirting with me?” You asked jokingly.

“Maybe.” He mumbled and you felt your heart beat faster at his answer. It was quite soft but you were able to hear it enough.

“How are you, Y/N?” He asked this time and you gulped and composed yourself. “I’m good. I got my college letters this week. And I got in—”

Before you even finished your sentence, Taehyung turned towards you and gripped your arms excitedly. “Wow! Congratulations!!! We need to celebrate!” He cheered and you gave him a small smile, feeling teary at his enthusiasm.

“What?” He asked.

“What ‘what’?” You asked back and he tilted his head with a pout. “You look sad—”

“I’m leaving Taehyung.” You blurted and the smile on his face fell bit by bit as he let your words sink in. “Huh? W-where are you going?”

It pained you to hear the innocent way he said it, like a child asking his mother where she was going and when she would be coming back. “I got accepted at my dream school.” You smiled. “NYU?”

“NYU.” He repeated, like the term was something foreign to him. “But that’s in—”

“New York.” You nodded. “I’m moving to America, Tae.” You looked up at the sky, refusing to look at him. After a while you felt a poke on your cheek and when you glanced at him, Taehyung was smiling down at you. His expression genuine and sincere as he said,  ”That’s amazing, Y/N! I’m happy for you.”

You smile back as he patted your shoulders, squeezing it comfortingly. “Thanks.”

“When are you coming back?”

Oh boy. You thought, having seen the question coming. You bit your lip and looked out, unable to tell him eye to eye. “I—” you sighed and decided to just go for it. “I’m not.”

Taehyung looked like a child who has just been told that Santa wasn’t real. His expression was a mixture of confusion and disbelief. “What? Wh—what do you mean—“ he stuttered; his lips shook as he tried to get his words organized. “What do you mean you’re not? Of course you have to come back. This is your home!”

“I plan on working there, Tae. It’s a good opportunity.”

“But—” Taehyung caught himself when he realized that he was acting like a child. You were going to America, you had a future ahead of you and he shouldn’t be stopping you—he should be cheering for you and supporting you.

“But what, Tae?” You asked, a glint of hope sparking in your heart.

But what about me?, he wanted to say but instead he smirked, “But what if you get in trouble there, huh? We won’t be there to get you out of it.”

You were a little disap
