"Well, he supposed it made sense. He juggled through his recent memories of their relationship to see if he ever remembered her smile being anything less than genuine, her touches ghosting anything other than lover upon his skin. His beautiful, sweet, Soon Ri. What else could he give her when she already had his heart?"

A/N: This fanfic was so spur of the moment, written at 2:30 a.m. in a dark room. My EXO feels got the best of me as I was settling in for the night, and this story happened. I hope you are interested in it enough to like and/or subscribe. I'd like to have a few subscribers before posting. Excuse me while I pass out. Tah-tah for now ^_____^

Chapter 1: I love this! While fairly simple, I like the way you juxtaposed the past a present. The past relationship with the lasting one. You ended with only Jongdae and Taryn's first meeting but it was enough as we know what type of loving relationship was to come. I also like how well you wrote an BWAM relationship. Sometimes authors will rely on stereotypes or make it all about the imagined drama of loving someone black but miss the humanity of the two people in the process. Here we just have two people who will grow to love one another deeply. She's black, which is wonderful, but that's not what this is all about.

Chapter 1: It's not a bad attempt, but a pretty good one, but I wouldn't say that it blew me off or something. I've read many fic recommendations so it's just weird to read a fic that I stumble upon. There might be some things that can be elaborated on, what drove Jongdae's ex to make such a decision, the experiences that the characters had that would impact how they make their choices? I feel that family background is a very prominent force on how people love and perceive love.
