In a world that has been involved in nuclear war for 50 years, it is pretty obvious that the end is near. All the war and death has devastated the world. Cities are now derelict and the people have to make do with what they’ve got or can get a hold of.

 

The nuclear warfare has caused mutations to occur but thankfully none of those generic ‘growing extra limbs’, ‘glowing green’ or ‘gaining gills’ kind of mutations. What has happened isn’t deadly but is a little on the weird side. Some men have gained the ability to conceive and get pregnant but other than that are perfectly normal and healthy. These mutated men, along with the remaining women are called carriers.

 

This new world had just begun to pick itself up and patch itself back together after the war had stopped. They knew that it would never be the same.

 

After only a year, the one last nuclear bomb went off of its own accord. Now only 40 young adults remain but most of them don’t know there are others out there ... yet.
