It's Valentine's. I'm at home, alone. This year, I can't spend it with Yoseobie. There was a depressing aura hanging in the air of the room I was in. He has plans, HE HAS PLANS! Is he with another girl? No, PLEASE don't let it be that, please, no. Any other time but now...

I ignored my thoughts and switched on my laptop, only to find another email from the unknown email address. The owner of the email address had been sending me emails for the past two weeks until now, every time hinting who he was.

On the first day, he said that he was my secret admirer. On the second, he hinted that he knew me well and that I did too. He said that he saw me in the library on the third day and in the hallway on the fourth.

Each email was longer and had more hints than the last, making me gain more interest in the topic each time. I compiled all the information to come to a conclusion I couldn't believe: It's him. The one I've been waiting for for so long...

I never thought this day would happen. I never would imagine that my first love, first saviour, would ever come to like me as a girl. I pinched myself to ensure myself that this wasn't a dream. I dressed in a cute frilly dress shirt along with a black dark-looking skirt.

I went to the grand cinema as told in the email sent five minutes earlier. The name did fit the place, the cinema was painted in gold and had big bold words, like those of Hollywood. My heart is beating so fast, increasing every single second, as if I am running a mile...When it was time, someone came up to me and gave me a rose along with a note: 'Walk 10 big steps to your right.' I followed the instructions given to witness a rose garden that seemed never-ending.

The colours of the roses were gradiant from light pink to dark pink. The arches above me were intertwined with roses, creating a sight to die for. The green bushes were at both sides of the place, trimmed cutely and neatly, causing me to smile like the creepy Chesire cat in Alice in Wonderland. 

The sight before me was to die for. I had never seen such breath-taking things before. 

I slowly walked along the path that carried me to another person holding a note. 'Are you getting impatient now? There's still quite a long way to go..Haeri, meet me in the centre of the garden.'

In the centre of the garden? Where's that? I asked the person who gave me the note but didn't retrieve a satisfying answer. I pouted hardly and walked around without knowing where I was going. The surroundings were calm, refreshing and pleasing, as the wind blew and tousled my hair, it made me feel sleepy, but not enough to make me sleep on the nearby bench like a hobo would.

I strolled along the paths marked by the plants and bushes, each step taking me deeper into the rose garden's mouth. My legs were starting to get tired, but it was worth it. The view was amazing, just, simply, amazing.

There were cherry blossoms everywhere. I figured that they planted different flowers in the same area to save space, and also to attract tourists. Everything there made me want to draw. I was about to cry admiring its beauty, but blinked the tears away as I didn't want to mess up my make-up. Yes, I wore it especailly for this occasion, and I won't ruin it for myself.

I continued walking around the path for over an hour, apparently forgetting about my secret admirer and the time, I soon sat down on a bench and had a little rest. I saw a butterfly flying nearby me. I slowly stretched out my hand to let the butterfly land on it.

It had a branch-like pattern that started from its core: its body. It looked somewhat mysterious as it was light bluish-purple. It also had two eye-like patterns on each wing to protect itself from its predators. The pattern was somehow alluring to me, making me want to draw out every single detail of that butterfly, but knowing how well my memory was, I would forget before I even get back home.

Yoseob was standing in the heart he made out of rose petals, peeking through the hole in the bush and watching Haeri admire the butterfly on her hand. He felt slightly jealous of it but soon mentally slapped himself for getting jealous over a butterfly.

The wind blew, making your hair dance with the wind. The butterfly went with the wind, making it seem as if the wind was its transportation. Yoseob's mouth hung agape at the very sight, he is now too mesmerized with your beauty. He noticed how your skin seemed fairer, and that you looked prettier than usual, he assumed that you wore make-up.

As soon as the wind stopped blowing, you got up and continued walking while closing your eyes for a while and hummed a peaceful song. After seeing that, Yoseob quickly stood in his original place in his former position. His thoughts ran wild, would you reject him? Would you be alright with him liking you? Would you end your friendship with him?

Now, he managed to focus on how to confess to you in a romantic way. 'Haeri, will you...be my girlfriend?' Or '...will you...go on a date with me?' After about two minutes of contemplating on what to say to you, he finally agreed on the first one.

As he heard your footsteps becoming slightly louder each second, the sound of his thumping heart also became louder. Relax, relax...he told himself as a failed attempt to calm himself down. 

As if it was planned, you walked into the heart of the garden right at that time. Both of you were stunned of and at each other. Both mouths attempting to attract flies. "H-Haeri-ah?" He said stuttering nervously. "Neh?" You said trying to sound as steady as possible. "Will you....(he gulped) be my girlfriend?" You were jumping up and down in your head like a high kangaroo. It was like a dream come true for you. You shouted almost immediately, "YESSSS!" You said as you pulled Yoseob into a super tight hug. You pitied the boy but you were too happy. You were snickering mentally as you imagined that his eyes were at the verge of popping out of his face. 

His face slowly came closer to yours'. You closed your eyes and waited for his lips to meet yours' while imagining the sweet taste of his lips and how tender it would be for you. Your first kiss given by an angel in disguise. It was oh-so fairy-tale-ish that you couldn't help but imagine a happy ending. As you felt his hot breath on your lips, you blushed and started to get giddy and high. You took in his lovely scent and patiently waited for the kiss to arrive.

But, it never happened, instead, you fell into an endless pit.
