Hitori Kakurenbo, otherwise known as Hide And Seek Alone, refers to a urban legend ritual that is meant to summon a ghost or other spirit into ones home, giving them the body of a doll to play hide and seek with them. Playing the game has turned into a hot topic all around asia.Those who have played it report that the game actually works and that they felt their lives were threatened. 

Airi Suzuki, a lonely teen, decides to play the game out of curiosity. Little did she know, that she wouldn't be able to finish the game sucessfully and that the spirit was going to haunt her until she gave what she promised: 

                                      "If you find me, I promise you to give you my body."

The Kim family just moved from Korea to Japan because of their job. Their only daughter, Kim Taeyeon, has been obligated to leave her friends to start all over again in this new country and in this new house. Since her parents are always at work, she has the whole house to herself, not that she cares. But what happens when she starts having strange visions and hearing weird noises through the night? Will she run away or find the cause to all of this?
