Everyone in this world has an affinity with an element. Those that know and use their element are called Elementals. Those that don't, are called the Powerless. There are 5 elements - Fire, Air, Water, Earth and Spirit. Every generation, there will be people that are the heads of these elements. You may think that there are 5 heads, but no, there are 6. Spirit must be split into two for the power of Spirit is too strong. That is why Spirit elements are rare. Each element head is gifted with a ring, a white and black diamond ring for the Spirit (one each), a emerald ring for Earth, a ruby ring for Fire, a sapphire ring for Water, and a *golden beryl ring for Air (for golden beryl refer to below). The postion of head is passed down from parents to their child, and it runs in the family. One generation produces 6 heads, and the next generation another 6 and so on. But there are good and bad. The bad Elementals had discovered a way to becomme immortal in the past, and their head, Kim Youngmin, is 392 years old. Kim Youngmin has obtained great power from his element, Fire and is the so called head of the bad Elementals. The bad Elementals, known as the Dark Elementals, has used the temptation of immortality to lure Elementals to change into Dark Elementals. There was a prophecy made in Kim Youngmin's time, a prophecy that said the 6 heads of one generation would have stronger powers than the previous heads. These 6 heads would defeat the Dark and bring peace to all humans, Elementals or Powerless.
This is the story of those 6 heads.
*Golden beryl can range in colors from pale yellow to a brilliant gold. Unlike emerald, golden beryl has very few flaws. The term "golden beryl" is sometimes synonymous with heliodor (from Greek hēlios – ἥλιος "sun" + dōron – δῶρον "gift") but golden beryl refers to pure yellow or golden yellow shades, while heliodor refers to the greenish-yellow shades. The golden yellow color is attributed to Fe3+ ions.[6][7] Both golden beryl and heliodor are used as gems.
Also, black diamonds are from outer space and fell to Earth (I think)
Foreword
"Jinki-ah, go and find your brother. It's time I told you something. Oh, and bring the rings I gave you." 10 year old Onew looked at his umma. It was days after Onew and his brother, Taemin, attended their halmeoni's(grandmother) funeral. Their harabeoji, or grandfather, had died when Onew was five and Taemin was one. Onew ran off to find Taemin and to take the 2 rings their umma gave them 1 year ago. "Taetae! Umma wants to talk to us! Come on!" Onew ran into his and Taemin's room. He picked up the two rings and walked to the door, where 6 year old Taemin stood.
