Description

In a city were nothing but violence reigns, a girl had been betrayed in her past.

She found a new family that accepted all of her flaws and secrets.

But what if her old demons came back to her? How would she survive with them back?

Hello everyone! I have made a particularly thrilling decision about this fiction. After seeing the latest B.A.P comeback, I have finally decided to end this for good. So, I choose to take back this fiction from the start, and re-write it again, as if it was brand new.

So, if by any chance you're one of those few that started reading this when I started, I made some major changes.

I figured that there was way too many mysteries, too many characters and too many meaningless details. I'm sorry for any EXO fans who came here just for them, but I have replaced them by none other than BTS. The fiction will be better in scenario and writings, so I really do hope that you're going to like it.

I'm looking forward hearing from you all,

Lots of love,

- Nageoire

Foreword

The young girl took a deep breath, she let the warm coffee pouring down her cup so mechanically, you wouldn’t be sure she exactly knew what she was doing. It was sunny outside and she blinked a few times, trying to erase the sleepiness off her face. She had long dark hair, a button nose, a charming smile and fine eyes that would cut right through you if you dared to speak un-dearly of her.

She wasn't really tall; her height was mostly average. But the strange particularity she had, was the strange scar covering her face. It was beginning right above her right eyebrow, crossed her nose, right down to the side of her left cheek. It was quite scary, to anyone crossing her path on the street, or at the super market (for the very few rare times she did go do groceries).

"Good morning, noona." In the corner of her eyes, she saw a really tall boy whit bright silver hair entering the kitchen with sleepy eyes, yawning without trying to contain himself. He opened the fridge slowly, trying to adjust his view to better see what was underneath his eyes. She responded by a simple smile and she dragged her thoughts back into her cup.

Just a few minutes later, another boy came in – no, a man, surely. Shorter than the white-haired boy, but still a few inches taller than her. Himchan sat down on the first chair around the center island, elbows down on the table as he said his good mornings.

There was seven people living in this household, and in less than an hour, everyone was up and eating breakfast together in the kitchen.

Yongguk had the kitchen television a few minutes’ prior, and today’s news were passing in the background, conceiving a convivial atmosphere in the room. They weren’t talking loud, they weren’t telling each other’s dreams trying to find a random signification of it – no, they were mostly silent, eating and chewing slowly. The girl didn’t pay much attention to the others anyway; today, she didn’t felt very well. She didn’t know why though, but there was this unsettling feeling, right at the bottom of her guts, a feeling that told her that, something was bound to happen.

"Hey, are you okay?"

"What?" she snapped, her head lifting towards the voice that dared to interrupt her thoughts. She found Himchan’s eyes staring right back at her, eyebrows frowned as he put his cup of coffee back down on the counter. "I… Yeah, sorry, I don’t know. Forget it, it’s probably nothing."

This time, it was the blonde haired boy, joining the conversation that laughed out loud. "Noona, we did that a hundred times before, there’s no need to stress about it." Jongup assured her. "You’ll do great, like always!"Yongguk pated her on the shoulder and, just like that, the conversation was over. But that wasn’t what she was talking about.

Torturing people? She was used to it.

Getting information? She was used to it.

Killing people? She was used to it.

No, that was definitely not what she was refereeing to. There was something special about today. She looked inside of her cup again and silently listened to the news that were passing behind the counter. "...but nothing could have prepared the bank to explode like it did. The seven criminals took almost eighty million wons, robbing Seoul’s citizen of their economies and savings. In the matter of only a few minutes, the gang self-proclaimed as ‘Block B’ is now wanted by the federal police of South Korea. Anyone who have any information about the gang, please report immediately to the police, or call this number..."

It felt like the sky just fell on her head. Like time just stopped, and the planet dropped down into space. The cup of coffee she was holding was now splattered on the floor, sharp glass finding place on the coffee-covered carpet. Her lips were parted, eyes wide open as they stared at the television where the faces of seven men were individually shown to the spectators.

"Noona, is there –“ Youngjae couldn’t finish his sentence, cut off by the way the elder woman got up from her seat, unaware of the sharped glass at her feet. No one was talking and the only sound that could be heard was the television reporter talking about the mess the gang had left in the bank.

"They’re back." she whispered, mostly for herself. She breathed again and stormed out of the kitchen.

"Kana! Kana, wait!" Yongguk said, following her, tracing her steps as close as he could. He didn't know where she wanted to go, but he followed her outside of the house, down a couple of streets until finally, he completely lost trace of her.

Chapter 33: I misssss this story ♡ I am still amazed how you manage to have many characters and gave them each a role to play! I like how you have the flashbacks and the present story suuuperrr neatly arranged. Usually i gave up reading fics that includes many characters and had many things to tell as it get confusing, but not yours! This story glues me on perfectly. I hope you're keeping your fire alive because I can't wait for the following chapters! I am bracing myself as this story 'winter' is coming! Woohoo! ;)
