Since Sungjong is on summer vacation, he only spends time either working or hanging out with Howon...and sometimes myungsoo if they ever find him.. the latter is still depressed about sungyeol....

"oh..it's myungsoo hyung" sungjong pointed at the guy sitting at a bench at the park sungjong and howon were passing through, he was looking at nothing in particular..

sungjong walked ahead to myungsoo and stood in front of him.. "hey hyung..."

"oh sungjong ah..hi..." myungsoo smiled a little

"what are you doing here hyung?" the younger asked

"uhm nothing really..just..nothing.." myungsoo sighed.. "you?"

"oh me and howon hyung are going to the mall to watch a movie" sungjong replied and at that moment howon finally reached them

the two fist bumped and nodded at each other as a way of saying hello to eachother

"you should come with us! right hyung?" sungjong faced howon with his puppy dog pout and the older can only nod, wishing in his head that myungsoo would dcline

"ani..it's ok sungjong.." myungsoo said, he wasn't really up for anything..he just wants sungyeol now..

"pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" sungjong pouted and for a moment myungsoo thought it was the cutest..like how sungyeol used to be... "uhm...is it ok howon hyung?"

"ah..yeah...you should come.." howon just agreed although he was cursing myungsoo in his head

"yay! now come on, we might be late for the movie" sungjong took both howon and myungsoo's hand and the two older ones just let sungjong drag them..

This occured too often than howon liked and soon it was always a three some movie dates or whatever sungjong though of doing during his free days..

"Sungjong ah!!" howon came to Sungyu's Cafe all excited

"oh hyung..it's your day off, why are you here?" sungjong asked

"i got in sungjong... i auditioned to JYJ entertainment and i got accepted" howon grinned showing the letter he just got "i'll be training soon!!"

sungjong went around the counter and hugged his bestfriend "i'm so happy for you hyung" he smiled

"hey howon, don't forget us when you are a top star already" dongwoo chimed as he  high fived howon

"i guess having a top star cousin would definitely help my business hehe" sungyu laughed

"still visit us from time to time ok?" woohyun smiled at the younger

"hyungs, i'll still be training so i will still visit a lot...and even when i make it big, i promise to come here to perform for free" howon grinned

after all the hype on howon's acceptance to a big agency, he and sungjong sat on one of the tables since the younger was on break

"why the sudden mood change?" sungjong asked as he saw howon's smile fade

"because i won't be able to look after you as much anymore..." the older one frowned

"hyung..for Pete's sake i'm almost 20..i'll be fine..."

"but i promised sungyeol..."

"hyung..i'll be ok.."

"should i just decline it so i can be with you all the time?"
sungjong immidiately frowned..not again.." do that and i will hate you forever...i already told sungyeol hyung that i don't like the people i love giving up their dream just because they are afraid i might die anytime..so please?"

"alright..just promise me you will take care of yourself..and if you need me, don't hesitate to call and i'll come running back to you neh?"

"i promise" sungjong grinned

Soon enough;, with the lack of a brother and a bestfriend, sungjong pretty much found himself with myungsoo all the time since both of them are in the same situation of missing sungyeol..

"sungyu hyung, i'll go now" sungjong bowed to his hyungs as his shift ended already

"do you want us to take you home?" woohyun asked

"no it's fine hyung..it's still early anyway..." sungjong bowed again and walked out of the cafe..

as closed the door, he saw someone waiting for him outside

"hey hyung" sungjong smiled

"hey jongie" the older one smiled, it made sungjong's heart skip a beat "yah, stop that, he is still your brother's boyfriend" sungjong scolded his heart in his head

"what are you doing here?"

"oh i was around the area for a project..i thought i would come by and see if you wanna go for some ice cream?

"uh..sure hyung"

the two walked to an ice cream parlor not that far from Sungyu's Cafe..

"goodafternoon sir, what flavor would you like?" the server asked with a nice smile plasterred on her face

"Vanilla" both men said in unison and they looked at eachother and smiled

"any drizzles or toppings?" the server asked again giggling at the two

"strawberry" both said again

"ok, i will serve it in your table in a bit..."the server said

sungjong and myungsoo chose a table by the window and waited patiently..

soon their ice cream arrived "you two make a cute couple..very compatible.." the server said sweetly

before sungjong could protest myungsoo uttered a "thanks" and the server walked away

"why didn't you protest.." sungjong asked

"cute couples get extra toppings" myungsoo winked at him as he ate his ice cream

sungjong can't help but blush a little, his heart beating faster.. "calm down sungjong..he is pretty much your brother in law already" he thought as he slowly ate his ice cream

myungsoo found it cute when sungjong was messing up a little, leaving trails of ice cream on the corners of his mouth, sungyeol was the same way but somehow sungjong makes it a lot cuter...

"jongie..you have something on your mouth" myungsoo uttered

"oh..." sungjong tried to wipe but missed.."is it gone?"

"no...there's still something.." myungsoo tried to point but sungjong still missed

"here.. i'll do it" before sungjong could process what's going to happen myungsoo's thumb was already on the corner of sungjong's mouth

for a brief moment of shock, the two looked into each other's eyes, frozen under each other's gaze...

"uhmm.. thanks..." sungjong broke the eye contact and touched his face

"ah..no problem.." myungsoo smiled a little bit uneasy... his heart did skip a bit.. he was thinkign how soft sungjong's lips and how smooth sungjong's skin "yah myungsoo, that's your boyfriend's brother..you love sungyeol" he repeated in his head to calm himself,,

that night got a little bit awkward for the two but still myungsoo walked sungjong all the way to his house..

"uhm.. thanks for the ice cream hyung..." sungjong shyly said as he played with his shirt..

"thanks for being a good company sungjong..." myungsoo replied..and before they both know it myungsoo kissed sungjong in his forehead... "bye.."

 the older one left, leaving stunned sungjong at the front of his door...

"not good..not good..." sungjong felt his chest was going to pop out.. not because he was having an attack.. but because of what myungsoo did....

in myungsoo's room..

"aish... why did i do that?" myungsoo smacked himself in the forehead... "no..i didn't do anything..it was a friendly kiss of goodbye..plus it's in the forehead..it's not like i kissed him on the lips..." he told himself.. he was indeed doubting himself for a second there...

in the middle of myungsoo's monologue his phone rang...

he saw the name on the screen of his phone..

"hey babe..." myungsoo answered the phone, seemingly forgetting what happened and what he was ranting about to himself the moment he heard his boyfriend's voice...

he gave a sigh of relief...as he still felt the sparks he had for sungyeol..and maybe sungjong was just reminding him of his lover...
