Youngneul’s POV

The bright sunlight hit my face. I stretch my body. Uhhh, that so good. My hand automatically land on the other side of this bed where Sehun oppa supposed to sleep now. But I touch nothing. Sehun oppa is nowhere inside our room.

I try to listen if there is running water, but no. Bathroom in vacant. It’s before something good reach my nostril. That’s when I know where exactly Sehun oppa is.

I grab my phone which lay on the table beside me. I rub my eyes and look at my phone.

Hm, a voice mail from Jackson? Why? It’s too early in the morning for him. I just open his voice mail. His soft voice instantly greeted me.

            Hello Youngneul-ah. It’s me, Jackson.

Hey, sorry, I just inform you now. I know it’s such a bad time. But I have to leave. I don’t even know when I can come to Korea again. Or maybe I can’t come back. My dad will be coming to Korea next week. I’ve to run away again from him.

But I promise, you will always be my best friend. I’ll always beside you. Just call me if you need anything. I’ll inform you when I get new place for escape from my dad. I’ll call you or message you later. Sorry for disturbing you so early in the morning.

What? It was shocking news! Why should he leave so suddenly?! I can’t think anything again. I call him after as soon as the voice mail ends.

“Hello, this is Jackson. Sorry, I can’t pick your call for now. Just leave your message here and maybe I’ll call you later.”

“Yah! How dare you leave me without say goodbye properly?! You must come back to Korea. If not, I won’t ever forgive you. Got it? Okay. Call me ASAP. I’ll be waiting for your call. I hope you arrive safely. Wherever you are.”

I stare at my phone again. Did he really leave me? I hope not.

I’m going out from my room after take a bath and put on my uniform then walk to kitchen. To my surprise, Sehun oppa is really here. Cooking. Wow. What happen to him today? Weird enough. I just walk to him with frown. But seeing him so serious in cooking makes my heart warm. A little smile appears on my lip.

“What are you doing, oppa?” I ask curiously. I know it wasn’t the first time I see him cooking by himself. But at morning in Wednesday?

“Cooking.”

I close my mouth after his short answer. Pshh. This oppa is really rude. How can he answer me in a bad way? Without even look at me or maybe give me smile. No. He just does everything without a single glance at me for once.

He moves here and there fluidly.
