Foreword
Back Story
It is the year 2235 and the city of El Dorado is not what it was 1000 years ago. Males now dominate the population because of a war that resulted in the perishment of all their women.
Because of the lack of women, the President ordered for scientists to come up with a way for some of their males to bear children. After a few unsuccessful attempts, a solution was finally conceived through the country’s high-end technology that allows for the mutation of the female reproductive system in a male.
Over centuries, selected males were no longer required to be injected with the strain because of the evolution of certain males to be born with the ability to conceive. Such males are now termed as Bearers, and are tasked with the most important responsibility of preserving mankind (in this other realm, of course).
Other males are termed as Exovians, and their parents would do them the honour of finding them a suitable Bearer.
However, because of this, Bearers are seen as inferior to Exovians and if a Bearer does not undergo the ceremony of Bonding with their chosen Exovian once they are of age, they are subjected to the lowest ranks of the social caste. They will live only to serve other Exovians.
