What happens when one of your greatest dreams actually comes true? Meeting SHINee, and more importantly, TAEMIN?

You're from the United States, California to be exact. Your best friend, Matthew, has been chosen to become a trainee for a new group in the well-known entertainment company, SME. Since the two of you have grown up together, he was like a little brother, and you were ecstatic when his parents asked you to tag along and watch over him. SInce you don't actually know anyone in Korea, you just tag along to his rehearsals and inevitably run into some of your favorite kpop idols...

This is my first fanfic for the kpop world, so constructive criticism is appreciated~

Characters:

You, obviously. You're 17 (18 Korean age), friendly, one of those shy-at-first-but-crazy-when-close people (good kind of crazy), sometimes random, sometimes clumsy, 165cm tall, 55kg, you have naturally dark brown you like to dye black (usually), and you have a SoCal tan. You dress casually (jeans, t-shirts, sneakers), and your style tends to be more tomboyish; you dress for comfort, not style, but if the occasion calls for it, you clean up well. You have been into kpop ever since your friend introduced you a few years back, and you were ridiculously excited just to be on the same continent as them. Lover of banana milk.

Matthew (You call him Mattie) is 14 (15 Kor.), random, funny, nice, 168cm tall, also 55kg, has short black hair that he sometimes styles into a fauxhawk, and is also quite stylish. He tends to wear trendy clothes (think Forever 21/H&M/Urban Outfitters), and loves high top sneakers like Supras, Creative Recs, etc. He's pretty laid back and open minded. He's excited to become a star himself.

SHINee is SHINee. How else to explain them? They are fabulous, humorous, hard-working, and very friendly.

You'll meet some friends along the way, but you'll have to wait and see ;)

Since most of the story takes place in SME, other artists may appear, but since I'm a Shawol, and this is TaeminxYou, the main SM artists that are mentioned are SHINee. And I don't really know how the other artists act, lol. This story is based on dreams I have where my friend becomes famous. Just saying.

All characters except SHINee and other SM artists are fictional and are not intended to represent people irl ;P

Also, I'm not really sure how a new trainee from a foreign country is supposed to enter SME, and I don't really know what the building is like, so I'm going to make it up. Yeah.
