“Annyeonghaseyo sunbae!”

A group of freshman boys greeted Bora as they passed her and she nod in response. Known as the genius and friendly queenka, her popularity spreads not only within the school but also to other schools in the district too. How often can you find a queenka with those quality in a school? However, ever since Naeun beat her score and got close to Kai, the students starts acknowledging Naeun as a second queenka much to Bora’s dislike and of course she have to do something to keep her queenka title to herself until she graduate.

“Omo, have you see the poster along the hallway near the cafeteria?”

“Poster? Eo, the talent showcase poster you mean?”

Bora was at her locker getting books for the day when she overheard a conversation of the girls next to her. She stopped sorting out her books and eavesdrop their conversation intently. The girls walked off, leaving Bora pondering over what they said.  She glanced at her watch before heading to the said location of the poster as the girls were saying.  When she reached the poster, a crowd of students were there and from where she is, she can’t see the details well. It was easy for her to get to the front of the poster. When she cleared and said “Excuse me”, the students parted and gave way to her and soon she is right in front of it.

Then she read the poster then took out her smartphone and scanned the QR code at the corner of it. Done with that, she turned to leave. They students started cheering for her when they saw her scanning the code.

“Go go sunbae go!”

“Fighting sunbae!”

“Sunbae Bora for the win! Sunbae Bora for the win!”

The students chanted as Bora passed them to get out from the crowd. She smiled at their encouragement and waved her hands and did the ‘fighting’ action. Dasom was a few metres away from the poster when she heard the loud chanting and saw a crowd gathering there. As she approached the area, she could heard clearly that the students are cheering for Bora.

“Ah, seol ma?” Dasom thought and smiled to herself before searching for Bora there.

Dasom jumped onto Bora back as soon as she found her and that caught Bora by surprise. Bora turned and put her hand over Dasom’s shoulder happily while filling up the online application form as they were walking. Dasom clapsed her hands together when she saw Bora registering for the Talent Showcase. She have expected this when she heard the cheering earlier on.

“Have you inform the rest about this thing?”

“Nope, but I think they don’t mind.” Bora shrugged while Dasom nodded in agreement.

“Okay, I’ve filled up all the particulars. You press the enter button.”

Dasom smile widely when she was handed the phone. They count to three and she pressed the submit button and when they are redirect to another page successfully, they both of them jumped in joy and high-fived together. They laughed happily before stepping into the class for first period. Bora’s cheerful face turned into a sombre one when she saw Naeun just as she stepped in. Bora huffed and walked to her seat with Dasom.
