We always knew our beloved Moon Aeyoung was a hot mess, but we loved it. XX Cosmetics is freaking amazing (my girlfriend constantly asks me to buy their new launches). From their modern and luxurious packaging to their top tier eyeshadow pay off, and the coverage of their face product, you can hate Ms. Aeyoung all you want but you have to hand it over to her; she knows what she's doing

Anyway back to the tea.

Recently, XX went cruelty-free which is fantastic. We love progressive, animal-loving queens. Except here's the irony, ladies and gentlemen: the launch part was all but cruel-free. I'll even label it as

Downright devilish, evil, and demonic

So here we celebrate life and animals being protected. Wrong! English reporter, Nigel Laurence, caught the most horrific scene ever! It was straight out Midsommar or something. It was like a crazy cult-hazing ritual with animal sacrifices being done at a cruelty-free event!

Back story: Moon Nayeon is South Korea's beautiful modeling sensation. You seriously cannot walk more ten feet without seeing her advertising for high-end fashion brands like Chanel, Gucci, etc. I wrote an article concerning her wedding to chaebol Lee Jinki a couple of years ago. She is also a very well know vegan in the community but many wouldn't know that about her; simply because she doesn't shove it down your throat like most vegans.

Laurence released a video of Ms. Aeyoung forcing a freshly roasted lamb in front of the vegan goddess. In his article, Laurence mentioned how the lamb was the same one that Nayeon is shown advertising XX's cruelty-free line. He goes on and explains that the lamb was given as a gift from Aeyoung to Nayeon as a gift for helping her out. How. Psychotic. Is. That?!

Now it's not breaking news that these two sisters don't get along. It's been a long-running rumor, and at this point joke, that you never see these two sisters interacting in public. The rumors lean more towards Aeyoung hating Nayeon for reasons unknown. I mean I would be pissed too if I didn't come out looking as hot as my little sister.

Since Laurence's article and video of the heinous acts performed by XX Cosmetic's CEO, Moon Aeyoung. The company has received many backlashes (as they should) and has not received any formal apologies. All of Aeyoung's social media has been silent, leading more people to be more upset. Since then. XX's stocks have dropped significantly. There have been rumors that shareholders have removed their shares with the company in fear of more backlash.

Online, many people, myself included, have expressed their shame on the company. One Twitter account states:

"What kind of monsters praises their brand for going cruelty-free then goes ahead and kills THE LITERAL POSTER ANIMAL of the campaign to spite their VEGAN sister? That's so psycho I don't think even Red Velvet will sing about it." @banana-unnie245

As far as Moon Nayeon's status, there have been reports of her leaving the country. An update was posted from her publicist on Twitter:

"During this time, Moon Nayeon is physically in good condition. She is suffering no illnesses right now from the events that have recently been unfolded. She is in the company of her husband and asks for privacy. For the time being, all activities and schedules will be on pause until further notice. Nayeon appreciates all the support from her fans and wishes everyone good health." @kahi-korea

For this month, her appearances on "Running Man" and "Let's Eat Dinner Together" have been canceled, leaving fans and viewers sad but understanding. She has received a lot of support online. We wish and pray that she recovers well from this trauma. I mean imagine getting your pet killed then basically force-fed to you. We love you Moon Nayeon; stay strong! Shame on you Moon Aeyoung.
