As she looked at herself at the mirror, she wanted to believe that she still looked the same; that she was still the same Cha Hyunsoo from three years ago. But she was a mess and the same things were filling her eyes: pain, loneliness, sadness, desperation, sadness, anxiety, anger, fear…she was just broken and lost. And in the ocean of emotions her eyes held, it was hard for her to find herself. She tried so hard to get back up but then her insecurities would always do its job of pulling her down. Nobody even dared to help her.

            Actually, this is dedicated to everyone. If you are having a problem with something and you feel like you’re the most helpless person in the world, always remember that you are not alone. Just think about the victims of typhoons, earthquakes, tsunamis—natural calamities; the scavengers who eat spoiled food almost everyday; the children who gets dropped off at orphanage centers; the newly born babies who are thrown away by their own mothers.

            With whatever problem we have in life, never forget that God is always there to comfort us and help us. Everything happens for a reason. He had planned everything for us right from the beginning. Just trust and have faith in Him. But remember that we have the chance to choose our own paths. Pray AND do good works. It will get better.
