“So, you want to court my sister?”

Taeyeon’s eyes widened at the blunt question. The girl spoke in a cold tone, much like her sister’s. Oh for the love of ice cream, why must persuading a Jung be so hard?

“Oppa..” A tug on his right hand had Taeyeon turning to his sister who looked at him expectantly.

He furrowed his brow, mouthing a ‘what’ to his sister. Hayeon pouted at her brother before nudging him on the side and nodding her head towards Krystal Jung who looked at them with bored eyes. Taeyeon’s mouth then formed an ‘o’ shape before clearing his throat.

“Err, yeah. I was.. ah, hoping you could.. help me?” Taeyeon’s voice croaked at the last two words and he subtly held Hayeon in a headlock which didn’t escaped the Jung’s observant eyes.

“Very mature,” the raven haired girl commented before pulling her classmate-slash-bestfriend from the latter’s brother.

Taeyeon rubbed the back of his neck and smiled sheepishly.

“So.. will you help me?”

Krystal tapped her foot on the ground while she had an arm around Hayeon’s shoulder. She contemplated for a bit. Knowing her sister, Kim Taeyeon is not the type of guy she usually goes out with. The guy looks lost; he was like a child who was trapped in a twenty-five year old body. Her sister likes guys who offer security and stability. And Kim Taeyeon was just not it. But it would be fun to see the older guy’s misfortunes from pursuing her sister.

“Fine,” she finally said and beckoned him closer. Taeyeon did so, with rounded eyes that sparkled. Krystal had to stifle her laughter. Maybe this isn’t a bad idea after all.

“Ten bucks for every information.”

Taeyeon’s eyes widened in disbelief. Did the girl just offered him a deal? But ten bucks is alright, as long as he gets to be with Jessica, right? And thinking about Jessica just brings excitement in his whole being. The ice princess, Jessica Jung. He had known her since high school; they actually lived in the same neighborhood. But he never had the chance to talk to Jessica ever since. He was too shy to do so and Jessica was so intimidating you can’t help but cower down. Her infamous glares would send you to hell and back; but for Taeyeon, it was a free ticket to the moon and back, as cheesy as it sounds. Jessica’s baby brown eyes were so lovely and Taeyeon couldn’t help but stare.

“So?”

Krystal’s voice brought him out of his daze and that was when he realized he was smiling like a fool. Oh, the things Jessica Jung does to him.

“Y-yeah. S-sure.”

He stuttered which made his younger sister laugh. Kim Taeyeon never stuttered. Ever. And this is the first time Hayeon had seen her brother so flustered. Oh this is going to be epic. Hayeon can already imagine her brother’s flustered state everytime he’s in front of Krystal’s sister.

“Deal,” said Krystal as she extended a hand towards the eldest Kim to which he took rather excitedly, oblivious to the smirk in the youngest Jung’s lips.
