“Listen to me, will you!” E.den shouted at Jinae. Intimidated, her features softened a little. This was the first time E.den actually raised his voice at her; usually, he would give in to her.

Seeing her back off a little, he cautiously reached out for her arms, and gently held onto it, trying to calm her down – it somehow calmed him down too. “Look, we just talked a little; we didn’t do anything, alright? She’s just a friend of mine.” Despite that, Jinae still didn’t look convinced by that.

“But she wants you, and it’s obvious. Why can’t you see it?” Jinae whines a little, in hopes that he would understand her. 

That was his last straw, “She doesn’t want anything, alright? She’s just a god damn friend, why can’t you see it?”

“If we keep fighting like that, we might as well just break up.” He stated dryly. With that said, he left his girlfriend – or rather ex-girlfriend – all alone, in the apartment they share.
