Owned and operated by the famous dog groomer, Ko Kiwoo, Double A is short for "Alpha Alpha," in which Double A will be the absolute best at what they offer. It didn't take long for the newfound pet hotel to rise to fame with such a popular name behind it. It ranked amongst international fame for animal lovers - it was a palace those could only dream of sending their companion. Despite it's worldwide name, Double A was only finding popularity with the older audience - as the younger generation found themselves too focused on electronics rather than the love that is animals. Despite his tries, in late 2012, his goal was cut short as the famous Ko Kiwoo was striken with a terminal illness. As the pet groomer 's death resulted in Double A to close down temporarily, the world-renowned pet hotel was soon a fogotten name without the famous Ko Kiwoo standing behind it. That's when his daughter, Ko Nayeon, had decided to step up and take over her father's company. In November 2013, Double A was reopened with an all-new staff, a staff Nayeon hired to turn the pet hotel into a universal one. Though she isn't as passionate about animals as her father, she still believes that, with the right staff, Double A could reach the international peak it was once at.
