Fresh summer air breezed through the open window, playfully tinkling the chimes inside the cream colored class room. She lifted her eyes from her desk, a minute early before the cuckoo bird chirped. A sigh escaped as she stood up and walked in between the little desks and chairs.

"Dear, are you hungry? Do you want me to call your parents?" She asked her four-year old pupil, pulling a chair to sit on.

The little girl simply shook her head sideways and remained silent. Her little brows met as her hand meticulously moved the crayon in an up-down movement, filling the blank spaces of a balloon. It had always been like that every time he was assigned to pick her up. While her classmates filed to exit the room, she would always remain seated. Waiting. Forever waiting for him to pick her up.

Ms. Kang rested her chin on her palm, quietly watching her little one doing her work. Mica is one of her bright students; but the child is a bit reserved. The little girl reminded her of her younger self. A smile unconsciously formed in her lips. It had only been a few days, but her soft heart already formed connections with her pupils. For the young pre-school teacher, they are her precious angels.

Her stomach growled in protest and she shyly blushed at Mica. The irresponsibility of her guardian was really getting on her nerves. She would definitely have a word or two with him.

The door slightly opened and a pair of beautiful brown eyes peeked inside.

"Mica, Mica," he called in a hushed tone.

Upon hearing the familiar voice, Mica put her things in her yellow Pikachu bag.

"Hurry, hurrry... Before tha-"

"Before what, Mr. Lee Taemin?"
