"Thank you, though, for your concern. I guess I just need to study harder or something." He hoped that would satisfy her. She just had to take the bait.

   "Well..." She started.

She hesitated. Not good.

   "... Alright. As long as everything is okay, then please do try to bring up your grades. I don't like to see my students not do well. Now off with you, and enjoy the rest of your evening." Beaming, she made small hand motions as if she was shooing a cat or small dog away, only slightly more exaggerated.

   Bowing, Gongchan thanked her and rushed out of the room, glad to be over with that hell. And that's when a whole new one began when he got a text from his boyfriend.

[ I'm pissed at you. ]

Characters:

 Gong Chansik ¦ Known in his classes as the know-it-all, Gongchan is very shy and fails to defend himself, leading him to sometimes have run-ins with bullies. Hardworking and not wanting to burden others with his problems, he also has some problems with self-doubt.

 Bae Suzy ¦ Daughter of the CEO of JYP Entertainment and heiress of the company, Suzy has been life-long friends with Gongchan. Rather calm and level-headed, Suzy has been known to attract both good and bad publicity from time to time. She likes to spend her spare time with her fiancee, Choi Minho. 

 Jung Jinyoung ¦ Senior at the prestegious Seoul National University, Jinyoung mostly spends his freetime sampling different places of food. Although light-hearted, jovial, and slow to offend, Jinyoung has been known to passionately defend those who are close to his heart.
