Some Girls Have All the Luck
Three months later...
"Why are you taking me here? I-I'm not ready, Sehun-ah." Mina muttered nervously to Sehun. She looked at him in the eye pleadingly. "I'm scared. Let's not do this please. Let's just go somewhere and do something else."
Sehun wrapped his arms around Mina, comforting her. "It's okay. Don't be afraid. I'll be gentle..."
It took her moments to realize what he was trying to imply. She glared at him as she swept his hands away. Sehun burst out laughing at the sight of her reaction. "Yah, why can't you be serious this time?" Mina pouted. "You should clean your mind sometimes." She told him.
"I was only joking," he was smiling sheepishly as he put his arm again around her shoulder. When she didn't smile, he pinched her cheek. "Smile now, will you?"
Mina found herself slowly smiling but she fought the urge. "But first take me out from here. I don't want to ride that scary cable car."
"Why? This is fun. Adventure, you know. And you should enjoy the view here at N Seoul Tower." He told her and she pouted even more. She knew she won't win against him.
"Why did you take me here anyway? Of all places, why here?" She asked.
He grinned. "I love adventure."
She rolled her eyes. "Adventure, my ."
"C'mon, just trust me on this." He took her hand and dragged her with him. She couldn't do anything but let him do what he wanted. They went inside a vacant cable car and she wondered why it was only them inside it. Even though she wondered about it but she didn't ask.
The cable car started moving, goose bumps started inside her stomach as well. She doesn't like heights, she was always afraid of it. Sehun knew that but still he pressed it on. She wondered what was he up to.
"Look, come here. Enjoy the view with me." He smiled as he reached for her hand. Mina moved beside him and was hesitant to look at the view. Her knees were slightly shaking to be honest. "Just don't look down below." He told her. She turned her head to look at him, the same moment the cable car suddenly stopped.
"What just happened?" She asked in alarm.
"I don't know. Some difficulties maybe?" He said casually as if it doesn't matter.
"This is why I don't want to ride this stupid cable car!" She exclaimed hysterically.
Sehun turned to her. "Hey, hey, relax. Nothing bad will happen to us. I'm here, okay? You're safe." He said as he cupped her face. It did somehow comfort her but she just can't shake away the fact that they were hanging inside the cable car from God-knows-how-many-feet down below.
"A-Are you sure we're safe in here? What if we fall? What if—no! Stop moving. The cable car is swaying."
