Foreword
Pre-debut
Tahiti had a sitcom-style reality program called "Ta-dah! It’s TAHITI" with the original members Ari, Jisoo, Jungbin, Minjae, Hanhee and EJ. The reality show has been broadcast not only in South Korea but also aired in China, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Singapore. Before Tahiti's official debut Ari and Hanhee left the group replaced by Ye Eun and Dasom.
2012: Debut and line-up changes
On July 23, 2012 Tahiti released their first single "Tonight" and started promoting the song on Show Champion on July 25 and other music shows.On October they unveiled teasers videos and images of their comeback revealing that Ye Eun, EJ and Dasom weren't part of the group anymore but replaced by the new members Jinhee, Miso and original member Ari. They released their second single "Hasta Luego" on October 31, 2012 followed by another song "Pretty Face" on December 2, 2012.
2013: Five Beats Of Hearts
On January 2013 Tahiti flew to the Philippines where they guested on It's Showtime, Gandang Gabi Vice!, Philippine variety shows, and a radio station before attending their fist overseas concert the Dream Kpop Fantasy Concert on January 19, 2013 at the SM Mall of Asia Open Grounds where they performed with Girls' Generation, Exo, U-KISS, Infiniteand Tasty.
Tahiti lent their vocals for the South Korean television series, You're the Best, Lee Soon-shin OST track “Don’t Know, Don’t Know“ and also made a cameo appearance in the drama.
On March 30 Tahiti along with SISTAR held a concert in Cambodia.
Tahiti will be making a comeback on July 25 with their title song called "Love Sick". A teaser was released for their new title track on July 14. Jin was confirmed not to be participating in the comeback due to the concept of the album not being appropriate for her age.
July 23, 2013 marks Tahiti's first year anniversary and they celebrated by holding a showcase of their first mini album "Five Beats Of Hearts", released on July 25 and performed the title track of the album "Love Sick" which its Music Video was also released on July 25.
