Foreword
[Sora's POV]
"Ahhh~ they're so cool!" some girls are screaming right next to me.
I'm looking for some magazines to read at the new bookstore. I take a look at them. Those girls are looking at an magazine which is covering about idol groups. I can read "BEAST" on the cover with six men posed for the cover. I look away and walk to the cashier to pay. I'm not so into the idol groups; I don't have any interests on them.
I listen to them, sure, I do. Trust me, I love music. I listen to almost all kind of music since I was a kid, but I'm not the type of a fan girl, who will scream because of an idol.
I open my door and step to my bedroom after I put my shoes next to the door. I open the magazine and start to read it when my phone rings.
I look at the caller's ID just to find my sister calls me.
I pick up the phone with single line, "Ne?"
"Sora ah~," my sister greets me. "Are you busy right now?"
"No," I answer while I'm turning the page of the magazine. "Why?"
"I mean, are you busy with your works?" she asks again.
"No," I answer simply. I look at my digital single-lens reflex camera on the table. It's been a while since the last time I used it for works.
"GOOD!" I pull my phone away from my ear because she is shouting out loud.
"Why?" I ask her without any interests. I can guess that she is going to offer me a job. She's 2 years older than me and she is a human resource development manager in one of the biggest company at Seoul. She has a lot of friends and she loves to offer me jobs from her friends.
"I have an offer!" she says, just like what I've predicted. "But it's kind of different from your past jobs."
"Hmm?" that's my reaction. Well, I mean, what will be the big differences? I'm a photographer. What does she mean?
"It's going to be a long term contract," she explains. "You need to sign in a contract to be their personal photographer for a year. The salary is great though."
I straighten up my body when I heard the explanation. Contract for a year? It's kind of unusual. My brain is working fast; I'm a professional. Whoever is my client, I will be alright. I looked once again at my camera before I reply, "Sure. I'll take your offer."
"Yey!" she cheers. "It is so great!"
"Anyway," I close the magazine, not bothering to continue my reading, "you said 'their personal photographer'. I have a lot of clients, eh?"
"They're an idol group," she tells me but I don't react. "I'm sure you know them."
"Do I?" I mutter.
"Yes, you put their songs in your iPod playlist," my sister giggles. "They have six members. Their manager is my friend from high school and he asked me about you when he read about an article about your photographs last month. He said that they need a personal photographer to take their photographs for more effective and efficient works."
"And they are?" I ask.
"They're BEAST."
