Jongin grumbled under his breath as he looked over his latest test results. His parents, if they weren’t already planning it, were going to murder him when the school sent the complete results home. Sure, he didn’t live at home with them no more and they all but refuse to talk to him, but they still would leave messages on his phone about keeping his grades up.

History, definitely wasn’t his strong suit.

“Hey, what’s your grade?” Luhan asked as he leaned over into Jongin’s personal space and peered at his results. His face scrunched as he shook his head in disapproval. Jongin could help but smile at how alike Luhan and Sehun looked sometimes.

Maybe that’s why Luhan was his best friend?

Luhan backed out of Jongin’s personal space and looked at his own results then back at Jongin’s. “Have you ever thought of a tutor? Cause with these grades, you’re not going to pass for the life of you.”

Jongin looked back at his results, “Seriously?” He didn’t want to fail and he most definitely didn’t want his parents to know he failed.

Suddenly it was like a light bulb flashed above Jongin’s head. He turned to Luhan with wide puppy dog eyes and his bottom lip pushed out in a pout as he fluttered his eyes lashes. “Lulu…”

“Oh no,” Luhan’s eyes widened and he shook his hands in front of Jongin’s face, “No way, no way hell. Go away Jongin, go.” Quickly the student council president turned back to the front and focused his eyes on the teacher as he continued to pass out test results.

“C’mon Luhan,” Jongin whined as he grabbed Luhan’s arm and shook, “I only need enough to pass the midterms! I thought you loved me…”

The president bit his lip as he struggled to keep his eyes forward, which was proving to be quite a struggle with Jongin constantly shaking his arm. “No.” He repeated and clenched his jaw.

With a deeper pout Jongin let go of Luhan’s arm and straightened in his seat. He waited for Luhan to relax before throwing his hands across his desk and letting his head fall sideways onto the desk as he whined loud enough for the whole class to turn to them.

“Luhan how could you be so mean? I thought it was the president’s duty to help a student in need! You’re a terr-”

Luhan slammed his hand over Jongin’s mouth with wide eyes and turned to the rest of the watching student. “Ha… don’t listen to him. He’s just sad that he failed the test.” The students nodded their heads like they understood Jongin’s position.

Turning back to Jongin, Luhan glared at the younger and squeezed his hand over Jongin’s mouth before letting go. He sighed. “Fine Jongin! I’ll tutor you, damn.”

Jongin shot up straight and hugged Luhan. “Thank you, thank you, thank you Luhan! You’re the best friend ever.”

Luhan grunted and hugged back with a sigh. “Was the whole over-dramatic scene really called for?”

“It got you to tutor me, didn’t it?” He smiled and fluttered his lashed as Luhan pulled away with a disapproval face. “Oh cheer up Lulu, it’s only for … five in a half months.”

Deciding to ignore Jongin’s comments Luhan pulled out his agenda and looked at the days free that he didn’t have council meetings. “I’m free next week, Wednesday.”

Jongin tilted his head then wringed his hands, “I have try-outs next Wednesday. How about this Wednesday?”

Luhan grumbled under his breath. Wednesday was tomorrow and tomorrow he had to discuss with the other members on how to take care of drug use on school property, mainly Oh Sehun since he seemed to be the main offender. “Jongin… how about this,” He set the agenda down and turned towards Jongin, “you get your boyfriend to stop smoking weed on school grounds and I’ll tutor you tomorrow.”

“Already done.” Jongin bit his lip at Luhan’s not so convinced expression. “Really. I kind of … flipped, last night when I found him high. I doubt he’d ever get high at school again or anywhere that I am with him.”

“I see.” Luhan picked up his pen and scratched out the meeting for tomorrow, making a mental note to let the rest of the members know, and wrote in all capital letters ‘Tutor Beggar Jongin’.

“I am not a beggar!”

Luhan waved his hand through the air, “Sure, sure. Of course you’re not Jongin, of course you’re not.”

As soon as the bell rang to signal lunch, Jongin jumped out of his chair and was one of the first out of the classroom. His destination; Oh Sehun.

Surprising him, Sehun wasn’t leaning against their lockers like usual with a brown paper bag in his hand with the words ‘Made when you were asleep’ on it. Instead Sehun was leaning against their lockers looking at the ground while chewing on his bottom lip like it was the tastiest thing in the world.

Jongin walked backwards until he passed the corner and hid behind it as he let his head peek out to watch Sehun. Even though it was only one day, this was odd behavior for Sehun. Suddenly Jongin began thinking this was his fault for flipping on Sehun the night before.

Was Sehun going through withdraws? No, Jongin told himself sternly, it’s barely been a full twenty-four hours. If that idiot is going through withdraws I’ll slap him. He shook his head. Okay I won’t smack him; he’d probably get pissed if I do.

“Why don’t you just walk up to him and ask him what’s wrong?” A voice asked from right beside his ear, causing Jongin to yelp –very unmanly- and turn around just in time to get out of sight as Sehun turned towards his direction.

Standing in front of Jongin was none other than Basketball captain himself, Kris. He stood with his arms crossed and his judging eyes were glued to Jongin’s shaken form. There was amusement in his grin as he stretched his neck and looked at Sehun who had gone back to looking at the ground.

“Kris, what are you talking about? And would you quit looking over!?” Jongin grabbed Kris’s arm and dragged him out of Sehun’s line of sight. Kris surprisingly, let him drag him until he was behind the wall before he leaned onto his heels and pulled his arm out of Jongin’s grip, the younger turned down casted eyes in his direction.

“You,” Kris poked Jongin in the forehead till he looked up at him, “were totally just ‘watching’ your boyfriend. And don’t tell me there’s nothing wrong with that. Because you’re right, there isn’t. Until the watcher looks somewhat liked a kicked puppy and his boyfriend looks like someone just kicked his puppy.”

Jongin tilted his head as he surveyed Kris’s expression, “Do you like dogs Kris?”

“Of course I do, their man’s best friend. Don’t change the subject Kim Jongin.” Kris put his hands on Jongin’s shoulder and pulled him away from the wall, “Now, be a good puppy and let your owner know you weren’t kicked.” He pushed harshly at Jongin’s back and walked away as the younger practically slammed into Sehun, almost knocking the both of them to the ground.

“Jongin? I’m going shove my foot so far up Kris’s -”

“No, no, no,” Jongin quickly helped Sehun stand up straight again and shook his head. “I don’t think shoving your foot up someone’s is a good way to get off of probation.”

At the mention of probation Sehun, the younger looked at Jongin like he wanted to say something but looked away from Jongin could ask about it. “I forgot to make you lunch…” Sehun said as he grabbed Jongin’s hand and laced their fingers together. “But if you want, I’ll buy it?”

Jongin shook his head and gave Sehun's hand a squeezed, “Nah, I’m not really hungry.” He looked at Sehun and noticed how the younger looked distracted just like how he did in the morning. Is this my fault? Knowing Sehun, there was only one way to cheer him up and Jongin was all for it. "Hey," He waited till Sehun looked up at him, "let's get out of here."

It took a moment for Sehun to process what Jongin was talking about. When it finally clicked Sehun smirked, "I like your thinking."

Three hours and four rounds later Sehun and Jongin laid next to each other in bed, their legs tangled up and Sehun's arms around Jongin's waist. There were no sounds except for their deep breathes that did the talking for them.

Throughout the entire time Jongin could practically see the trouble in Sehun seep out of him with each snap of his hips. He was glad, that he could do things like that for the younger, even if it meant his would be hurting for a while. All in all, to Jongin it was worth it.

As Sehun's eyes began falling close and his hand that had been rubbing up and down Jongin's back stopped, the older took the chance to look around at the damage caused in their haste to undress one another.

There were a line of clothes from the door to the edge of the bed, a broken lamp that Sehun had accidently bumped down when he had tried grabbing something as Jongin gave him a , the dishes in the kitchen were scattered from where Sehun had picked Jongin up and set him on the counter while leading a trace of kisses and hickeys to his stomach, and the table had white all over the top from where Sehun had first made Jongin come.

They were going to spend all week cleaning their apartment, even if it meant skipping school. Jongin wasn't a clean freak, but he differently did not like a mess where he lived or eat at a table with come on it nor did he want to cook on the surface his had been on. His was clean, by all means, but that didn't mean he wanted his food to take like it. Although it was something he'd let Kris eat.

"Whatcha thinking?" Sehun's tired raspy voice asked as he resumed running his fingers across Jongin's back with feather lighty touches.

Jongin hummed with a lazy smile and snuggled closer against Sehun's chest. "I was thinking of how were going to clean-" Sehun interrupted with a groan, "-and that I wouldn't mind giving Kris food that had been where my was."

After complainning about how much he didn't want to clean Sehun opened his eyes and looked down at his boyfriend, his hair brown hair was the definition of hair and Sehun couldn't help but smile at his handy work. "As much fun as that sounds, giving Kris food would mean you'd have to cook it. And Kris isn't allowed to have your homemade cooked food, only me."

"What about my parents?" Jongin laughed as Sehun shook his head. "Your parents?" Another head shake. "Me?" Sehun began shaking his head before stopping and giving Jongin a look.

"No Jongin, you cannot eat the food you cook." He smiled as Jongin playfully gasp and bit his shoulder.

Sehun closed his eyes again and kissed Jongin's forehead. "Hey, do you still have feelings for your old crushes?"

Jongin looked up at Sehun sharply, his eyes slightly narrowed. "Is that something people usually ask others after having with them?"

Quickly Sehun shook his head but kept his eyes close, "No, of course not. It's just ... why is it so hard to say it!?" He let go of Jongin and rolled onto his back, ruffling his hair with another groan.

"What do you mean Sehun?" Jongin sat up and looked down at Sehun's troubled expression.

"Jongin," Sehun opened his eyes bbut looked up at the ceiling instead of looking at his boyfriend. "You know how i said the principal said I have to do something good blahblah yadayada and I can get off probation early?"

Jongin nodded.

"Well, to do that. I have to tutor a student, but this sutdent had period red hair and donut eyes and is a midget. And he's a pain in the and tried to lie and get Luhan introuble- who by the way owes me a thank you for saving his -"

"Sehun, spit it out."

"Right," Sehun took a deep breath and blew it out, "I have to tutor Kyungsoo till midterms, and only if he ace's it will I get off probation early."

For a few seconds Sehun thought jongin was mad, which would explain the suffocating silence. Until Jongin laughed and climbed on top of Sehun, leaning his head of Sehun's so the younger was looking at him. "That's what has been bothering you the last two days? You're worried I still have feelings for Kyungsoo?" Sehun nodded and bit his lip, waiting for Jongin's answer.

In all honestly, Jongin was about to joke and say yes he did. But the look of vulerablity on Sehun's face and the scared look in his eyes stopped him. He pressed his lips lightly against Sehun then shook his head as he pulled back, "You look really cute when you're jealous Sehun." Jongin leaned down and kissed his again, a little longer. "Of course I don't have feeling for Kyungsoo anymore, that was four years ago. And I have you, something Kyungsoo can never amount too."

Sehun couldn't stop the smile that tugged at his lips as he looked up at Jongin, his eyes beaming down at him. Even though Jongin had just admitted that not only he didn't have feelings for the midget but that also Sehun was something Kyungsoo could never be, something inside of his head told it there was still something out of place. Something that he didn't like.

With a mental shake of his head Sehun placed his hands on both sides of Jongin's face and pulled him down for a long and passionate kiss. "I love you."

Jongin bit Sehun's lip and tugged before whispering against his lips, "I love you too."
