Red Skys and Royal CardsI made it to the the field a little late, but Key wasn’t there yet so I was glad that he was late as well. I was planning not to Summon Suho and Sehun during class. Some of the students may have seen them already, but that didn’t mean they had to see them now, during class. I would save that for when we were all better trained together.
At times like these, I was glad that no one talked to me. It would make this a little more surprising when I was able to do everything they could do without speaking. Plus, I wouldn’t have to try and explain this to anyone for a little while.
“All right, let’s get right to this.” Key said as he walked over to us. “You were late, Sky.”
I smiled sheepishly and nodded. Guess I was caught. At least he showed up after me or I would have gotten more than just being told I was late.
Key let us go off and warm up a little with our Warriors before the first fight would start. I made my way over to an empty area and Summoned Chanyeol, D.O and Luhan.
“Where are Suho Hyung and Sehun?” D.O asked.
I shook my head. “Not yet? More training with them first?” Luhan asked.
I nodded. I have to thank whoever gave me Cards that seem to know me so well.
D.O and I went over the tapping combinations that we were going to use. I didn’t want to mess this up, and D.O was aware that if he thought of something that would be of use, to do it and not ask me first.
“Sky, are you willing to start us off?” Key asked as he came over. I nodded. “Are you felling okay? You aren’t talking.”
I nodded again. This was going to be the hardest part of today, getting Key to let me fight. I’m fine. I mouthed.
“If you can’t talk, you are not fine. You are not fighting today, go home and rest.” Key was going to turn around and walk away.
I’m fighting whether he wants me to or not! I grabbed D.O’s arm and tapped it three times in quick succession. I sighed and vines wrapped around Key’s ankles stopping him in his place.
Key shot that diva like glare towards D.O and growled. I stepped in front of him and glared back. I’m participating. I mouthed.
Key looked baffled, “Did you order this?” He asked aghast and pointed at the vines.
I nodded. Pulling out the notebook I scribbled in it quickly. I don’t need a voice to give my Warriors orders. This predicament I got myself into, well, I figured a way around it. Now let me fight.
He was obviously not happy in the least at what I was proposing to do. It was probably crazy for him to even think about letting this pass, but he gave in. I’ve never lost once, that obviously was part of the reason why he didn’t put up much of a fight.
“If you think you are in any suitable health to actively participate in class, you need to prove it.” What! How am I supposed to do that! “Your first match will be with me. If you lose, you are resting for the rest of the week until your voice is better. If you win, no more complaints from me if you ever want to participate under any circumstances.”
Deal!
Key called the class to gather around. The two of us stood in the center of the oval the students made around us. The students watched us curiously as we stood there, watching each other.
“New lesson today. Miss. Sky here as offered her aid in teaching this.” Key explained to the class.
“What’s the lesson, Sir?” One of the students I already fought call
