Red Skys and Royal Cards“Watch where you’re walking.”
“It’s not my fault you are walking down the middle of the hall.”
“Would you shut up I’m trying to concentrate.”
“I’m not talking to you Hyung.”
“Are you telling me to out dongsaeng?”
“Clear the hallway you morons, people still need to get through.”
“ Hyung, you don’t have to force us out of the way!”
I’m getting I migraine. I can’t handle these boys, they won’t be quite, and are picking fights with each other over everything. I still think Suho is trapped in the pool for heavens sake, but it isn’t like they care he isn’t around.
I sighed as I listened to these boys from the comfort of my bed, in my room, with the door closed, on a different floor, on the other side of the house. They are loud, and obnoxious. I can hear them clearly and we aren’t even close to each other.
I’ve been avoiding all of them ever since Chen and Xiumin got into a fight about an hour into Xiumin starting to teach me. I learned nothing but to stay away from them when they are like this. They are not holding back on their displeasure about this happening and are doing their best to get this out of their systems fast.
Tao is a target right now, so being near him is like being next to a walking danger zone. Baekhyun is rather calm, but it’s turned into a scary calm with a piercing glare that doesn’t match his demeanor. And everyone is avoiding Lay; I swear he is all powerful right now because he says something and they listen.
If I try and ask something from him he isn’t that happy, relaxed, easy-going boy I know him to be. He has hardened eyes and a glare that I didn’t know he could possess. There is always a light white mist just around his hands and no one is getting in reaching distance from him.
The house has gone crazy and I don’t even think I’m going to get control of them anytime soon. I decided to leave them alone until they regain their composure. I’ve curled up in my room with another history book resting on my lap and I try to tune out the insane ruckus downstairs.
“Mind if I come in for a second!” Came Tao from the other side of my door.
“Just don’t bring the others in here.” I answered back.
Tao walked into the room and closed the door behind him, “Sorry for disturbing you but I need to escape from them for a few minutes.”
I sighed, “Great now I’m being used as an escape mechanism.” I muttered to myself. “How long is this going to last Tao, I can’t handle this for much longer.”
“Give it a day or two and the effects will wear off. The longest they have been affected is four days, but that was before they knew how to control it.” Tao told me as he sat down on the edge of my bed.
“Tao? Why did you slow down time farther than just around the property line?” That one thing has been bothering me. I don’t want to imagine what might happen if the school found out what was going on. I know they reassured me that the school wouldn’t be able to figure it out, but it is going to be strange when Warriors are acting to strange in just one area.
“It’s easier to just let my power take a certain area then to force it to go exactly where I want. I do in most cases make it do what I want. But because what you asked was rather hard for me to do and not to mention a little dangerous the safest thing to do was let it affect the area it so pleased.”
“Wouldn’t it be easier to control a smaller area, than a larger one?”
Tao shook his head, “In some cases yes, in this one no. You’ll understand this better when I teach you, so just live with uncertainties for now. Look I’m going to go back out before they start searching me out and turn this place in to a mess.”
I nodded; I don’t want my peace completely interrupted. They are already destroying my peace from beyond my room door if they intrude in my space here I will make them listen to me.
“Hey before you go can you help me with one last thing?” I asked his before he made it halfway to the exit to my room.
He spun back to look at me, “Nothing to do with my Specialty right? If so, my answer is no.”
I smiled, “I’ve learned my lesson about asking you for things I don’t know much about, so no requests for the aid of your Specialty.”
“Let’s hear what you want then.”
“I want to hear your mental voice.”
“No chance.” Tao sai
