Description
Sooyoung is a “Red Priestess”, a trained human capable of seeing supernatural beings. She’s lived for hundreds of years and loneliness can sometimes take its toll. When an odd boy by the name of Daesung crashes into her apartment, Sooyoung finds for her new companion a place in her heart while they work together to solve various cases. With an unknown enemy approaching, can they survive?

When I was young, my mother wrapped me in beautiful red clothes. They felt expensive under my small fingers. She pushed a mirror in front of me, so I could see the way she applied bloody makeup over my face and how she stuck shiny jewels in my hair. To me, it was nothing more than a silly game. I thought I was the most beautiful little girl in the whole village. After the preparations were done, she took my hand and that was the first time I had seen the lovely lady who had been waiting in the same room. She was standing in the corner with a rope in her grasp.
Do you know what happened next?
My mother hanged me in front of a family that looked richer than us. Her plain dirty clothes were no match for the outfits the grandma and the elderly man that prayed with fervour were wearing. They weren’t praying for their sins or my life, but for the little boy staring at the same level as I was, staring at me, while I was struggling in mid-air to escape. I heard my mother’s desperate cries. She obviously hadn’t agreed to it.
Don’t worry, I didn’t die. The rope broke before it was too late. I out and had the strangest dream ever: the boy wanted me to live.
Since then, I’ve been seeing things. The lady dressed in red took me in her care.
