My Beautiful Roommate

My Beautiful Roommate

Jessica's POV

"So, what about Jonghyun?" Yuri asked as she held me in her arms, her fingers gently gripping on my waist as she stuck our bare bodies together. I looked down at her arms wrapped around me, "I'll break it off with him,"

"And your mom?" She questioned.

I turned my head, "I'm not going to back down and succumb to her needs anymore, Yuri. I'll fight for our relationship, but only if you help me,"

Yuri smiled and leaned down, kissing my forehead. I closed my eyes as she let her lips linger on my forehead, she spoke in a soft voice, lips still grazing my skin, "Of course I'll fight for our relationship, Sica. I love you,"

I let my eyelids stay down, allowing Yuri's steady heartbeat to lull me to sleep, "I love you too," I whispered. She tightened her grip on me and we allowed sleep to take over.

Might aswell enjoy the calmness while it lasts.

Seohyun's POV

I froze as I saw Yoona walk in the dorm, a small smile on her face. As her eyes travelled, meeting mine, her smile immediately fell, "Seohyun," she muttered under her breath.

Ignoring her, I grabbed my bag and walked out the dorm, holding back my tears. She didn't even run after me, she didn't run after me the first time either. She let me go, as if she never wanted me.

As if our relationship meant nothing.

And it probably didn't mean anything to her, it was probably just another relationship down the drain. She'll go back to Taecyeon even after he cheated on her, even after he was engaged with another woman.

I stared at my feet as I continued walking, not looking where I was going. I bumped into someone, a man. I stumbled back and my stuff fell, papers scattering.

Before I could completely fall, the person gently gripped my arm, "Oops. I'm sorry, are you okay?"

I looked up and gave a small smile to the familiar person, "Yeah, I'm fine, Yonghwa,"

Taeyeon's POV

As I entered the dorm, I saw Tiffany getting ready to leave. Before she could exit the door, I grabbed her wrist, "Wait, please listen to me," I begged.

Tiffany turned and looked at me, her face stone cold. It scared me, it made my heart stop. There was no love, there was no emotion.

"F-Fany,"

"What is it?" Her cold tone made me flinch back, dropping her wrist. That made her gaze soften, "What?" she said, less colder this time.

"His name is Kangta," I started off slowly. She turned her back and began walking out. I reacted quickly, grabbing her arm and pulling her back, having her body against mine, "Please, just let me explain," I pleaded.

"I don't care," she mumbled, clenching her jaw. And for a moment, I thought she really didn't care. But I knew she did, I knew that she cared.

"We dated when I was in high school," I continued. She struggled, but I kept my grip tight enough to keep her in my hold but light enough not to hurt her.

"You told me you were lesbian,"

I sighed, "Well, then I'm biual,"

"You can't just change your uality like that, Taeyeon,"

"Then I realize I'm biual now," I rephrased, turning her body around to face me. She tried to push me away but I held both of her wrists.

"We dated for a while and it was really serious, then he left without a word, leaving me heartbroken," Tiffany tried to bring her hands up to her ears, closing her eyes, "I don't want to hear this,"

"And now he's here, wanting me back. I didn't even know where he went, I didn't know what he did during that time. I didn't even know he came back. And I most certainly did not tell him what dorm I live in,"

She opened her eyes, "Then who did, Taeyeon? Who told him our dorm number? Who told him?"

My eyebrows furrowed in frustration, "I-I don't know,"

"And you still let him kiss you. It was three seconds, I counted. You didn't push him away, you didn't do anything," she continued on, ripping her wrists from my grip. I reached for her wrists again and pinned her to the nearest wall, "I was shocked, Tiffany!" I raised my voice.

Her face fell and I immediately regretted toning my voice up. I spoke softly, "I was shocked. I didn't expect him to kiss me. We haven't seen each other in six years,"

"And what now?" Tiffany asked, her voice shaky.

"What do you mean, 'What now?'" I asked back.

"What are you going to do with him?"

"Nothing, I'm not going to do anything with him," I responded, staring into her eyes.

Her eyes flickered between my own. My heart felt like it was being shattered when she pushed me away, speaking the next words, "But, didn't you forget, Kim Taeyeon? We're over,"

I followed as she walked to the door, about to reach out to her until she opened the door. The door revealed a woman. I gasped.

"Mom?"

Jonghyun's POV

"Auntie-" I was cut off by Mrs. Jung, "Call me mom," she smiled warmly, which made me shiver.

"M-Mom," I started off, awkward. She smiled, "What is it?"

"Tell me about Jessica's past relationships," I started a casual conversation.

Mrs. Jung grimaced, "She dated a girl," she shivered in disgust. I couldn't help but think negative of this woman.

"It was disgusting. She definitely is too pretty to date a girl," I raised an eyebrow at that statement but managed to keep my cool.

"What was her name?" I asked.

"Kwon Yuri," she spoke as if the name burnt her tongue.

The name rang a bell in my head. It was the girl at the cafe. A smile came to my face.

Once I help Yuri and Jessica get together, I'll be free from this stupid arranged marriage.

Don't worry, Jessica.

I'm on your side.

Yoona's POV

Seohyun didn't seem heart broken anymore. She didn't seem to care about me anymore. Whenever we were in the dorm together, we never spoke. We ignored each other. And it felt like a jab to my heart each time she'd avoid my eyes.

But it's my fault. My fault for cheating on her. My fault for choosing Taecyeon over her.

Speaking of Taecyeon, he's managed to get out of the marriage. Apparently it was arranged by his parents, who didn't know I was his girlfriend at the time.

And now we're dating again.

"Hey, did you hear?" Taecyeon asked as he walked up to me.

"What?" I questioned, feeling his arm wrap around my waist.

"Your roommate, err.." he trailed off. "Seohyun," I finished for him.

"Yeah! Her,"

I raised an eyebrow, "What about her?" I questioned.

"She's dating my buddy, Yonghwa,"

The words hit me like a tidal wave, I paused for a moment, "O-Oh? Really?" I asked, pretending to be surprsied and happy for her.

He nodded, "Yep, they got official yesterday I think,"

That explains why she was getting ready so fancy. Taecyeon then leaned down and pecked my lips, "You should head back to dorm, I'm off,"

I gave him a small smile, "Okay, bye," I waved, walking to my dorm.

Entering, I saw Seohyun sitting at her desk, reading a textbook. I closed the door, making it obvious that I was back. She jumped a bit before glancing over her shoulder and back at her book.

I dropped my bag onto my bed before looking at Seohyun, watching her study. She shifted uncomfortably in her seat before I spoke, "So, you're dating Yonghwa now," I started out.

Seohyun widened her eyes before composing herself, looking up at me, "Y-Yeah, I am,"

I nodded once, "That's..." I trailed off, trying to find the right word. Seohyun looked at me expectedly, "...nice," I finished, seeing a flash of disappointment on her face.

"So.. how'd he ask you out?" I tried to keep the conversation going, wanting to hear her voice.

"It.. it was okay I guess. He just took me out and asked me to be his girlfriend. Nothing special," she explained, aimlessly flipping her textbook pages.

"You have feelings for him?"

She closed the textbook suddenly, "Yoona, stop asking me these questions. If you don't remember, you were the one who chea-" she paused suddenly before speaking again, "You were the one who chose to end the relationship the way you did. Please don't think that I'm over you already because I'm going out with Yonghwa," As she spoke, her eyes were staring down at the ground and it was obvious she was trying not to cry.

A wave of guilt washed over me.

"I still have feelings for you," she whispered, "But it's clear that the feelings aren't mutual. If you like Taecyeon then go ahead and date him. I'm no one special in your life. I'm just another relationship that's gone down the drain for the great Im Yoona, right?" her voice suddenly turned bitter.

I was shocked.

It was the first time she had spoken to me like that.

"And besides, we never even went public. Perhaps that's why you chose Taecyeon over me, because you're afraid to face society with a lesbian relationship," her voice kept getting smaller and smaller. She sighed and stood from the desk, I'm going to bed.

She climbed up the ladder and laid on the top bunk, me watching her every move. I wanted to go up there and hug her to sleep, apologizing to her.

But she was right.

I was scared.

If people found out that I was having a relationship with a girl, they'll go nuts.

I'm sorry, Seohyun.
