Shoes of a Unicorn Writing Contest | Round Eleven | Closed for Judging

Hello everyone!

There are just TWO days left until the contest deadline! As a reminder, the countdown timer is linked on the foreword, so you can use that to keep track of exactly how much time you have left! Currently, around half of the submitted entries are complete, so if yours is still incomplete, good luck on finishing it! If you need the month-long extension, please contact me! And if you are requesting an extension but you have not submitted an entry yet, please fill out an entry form first! The entry list basically contains all of my notes and I honestly will not remember if I've granted you an extension if your story is not on that list, so please send in a form first if you're thinking of requesting an extension!

In regards to the judging process, I will start reading the completed entries on November 19. Those with the month-long extension will be read once they are completed by December 18. I will do my best to have everything read and judged by January 2021, but because my sister is coming home for the holidays, things may get delayed a bit since I will most likely be spending as much of my free time with her as I can before she returns to school. If you're curious to know far along I am with judging, please feel free to ask! I'm not bothered by any queries. ^^

I will also be writing short notes for each story to help me decide how to rank the entries and at the contest's conclusion, if you'd like to know what my thoughts are, I will gladly send you these notes. And if you'd like a full-length review sheet instead, I can write one up for you instead of the short notes. Just let me know, since it saves time for me to write a review sheet in the first place instead of expanding on my short notes later on.

Anyway, please continue to write stories, submit entries, and promote the contest! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please contact me via the comment box, my wall, or private messages. I respond to all messages within 24 hours.

Chapter 57: You owe us no explanation at all. But, it's really kind of you to do so. Everyone's been going through a storm of reality right now. Currently, my grandmother is in the hospital with stage 3 cancer. Although there isn't a "great" time for anyone to fall ill, now is an especially awful time. Please don't neglect your personal healing for the sake of this contest! My heart is with you, Emily :)

Chapter 56: Hello there, just dropping by to say that I get so giddy whenever I see this story thread updated even if I didn't join the competition. I would love to be a part of round 12! I only hoped that I discovered this way earlier. What I'm trying to say is, thank you for hosting this contest. Aff community is fun with the likes of you. ♡
