Title: Ending a Fairytale

     In a faraway kingdom, long ago, there lived a king and his queen together with their beloved princess. The princess is the most beautiful and kindest maiden in the kingdom that every villager treats her dearly. Then one day, a prince from another land met her and eventually they fell in love with each other. Their love bloom like a rose, so beautiful and pure, and after months, they decided to get married. The king was very delighted by the news that he prepared a grand wedding where everybody, even the aristocrats of the neighboring towns could join. The news about it spread like wild fire, everybody is happy however, a certain witch didn’t seem to be pleased by this so she prepared a gift for the lovers. A curse, she cursed the princess and says,

        “I see that the prince and princess love is everlasting but as soon as she takes her slumber, that love would turn into hate. The princess shall hate the prince as much as she loves him and for eternity, they shall never be together again.”

          For days the princess didn’t sleep, she got paler and sick since she’s scared that after a blink, she would hate her prince. But for his love for the princess, the prince still married her and under the starry night, he kisses her to sleep.

          And so the curse take effect, the princess turned cold and eventually, she pierced the prince’s heart with her own hands. The princess live alone and later on died with no one beside her. A fairy witnessed everything so she decided to help them however since she couldn’t break the curse, she then give a spell instead and says,
 

          “For both lovers died in a pointless death, I say that after centuries they’ll live again and meet in different entities. I shall give them the chance to break the curse for I believe that true love can conquer all. I bless your souls, and wish for your love again to bloom.”

          After years, the story passes to every people from kingdoms to kingdoms. People believe that in the future, those lovers would meet again and break the curse of the wicked witch. Yet no one could still prove this belief so they could only wait for those two to be reincarnated and cross path again for their love story is still awaiting for its end.

Inspired by a scene from an anime and by watching too much Disney movies
