The Oracle
Description
-Help… - A little voice called and Sehun looked around, startled.
Did he actually hear someone calling for help in that old, abandoned swamp?
-H-help… - Came the weak voice again.
Sehun followed the direction of the voice, his steps hushed as he heard another call. He took a glance between some trees, where there usually was nothing but rotten wood, wreckages and dirt.
There was a boy there now, however, thrown in the middle of the dirty mud.
Sehun ran to him and instantly dropped to his side so he could check on him. He scanned the slender body and realized that, though the boy was laying in pure dirt, his clothes were still very clean, as well as his body. His body, Sehun noticed, was bony and frail looking and his skin was eerily pale.
So, so pale…
Sehun passed his arms under him and pulled the body against his chest. He realized with a huge shock that he could see his own arms through the boy’s body. He could feel the boy, he felt his weight on his arms, but his image was faint.
It was probably an apparition, Sehun thought and he gasped. Could he be actually holding a ghost?
He asked the boy if he was a spirit of some sort, but the creature shook his head and then raised two glowing brownish eyes to him.
When he glanced down at the hypnotizing eyes, Sehun thought the best would be to let go of the body and run as fast as he could, but he contained himself. It wasn’t time for him to be fearful, after all. This creature, whatever it was, needed his help.
-Please sir… - He begged faintly.
-Yes? – Sehun managed to ask, though he was almost breathless. – Are you hurt? What do you need?
-I’m locked... in the… - He panted heavily. – In the temple…
-Where? – Sehun asked. – What temple?
-Ah~ - The boy moaned in visible pain. His body twitched and he let his head drop to Sehun’s chest.
-Please… – He cried and then his body started to fade.
-No, don’t go! – Sehun almost yelled as he felt the already light body getting lighter and lighter in his grip. – Tell me where you are, tell me where I can find you!
The boy only let out another short gasp before closing his eyes and disappearing completely.
Foreword
ok so we received an interesting request from our reader Kraemer about an oracle boy that is kept on a temple, and we’ll try something that I believe was already tried by other authors, but we’ll see if it works for us as well ;u;
This fic will work like this, we’ll give you a chapter and after you read it, there will be four options for you to choose, all with possible ways of continuing the past chapter. Whatever option gets more votes will be the continuation of the story and so on until the last chapter. So basically, we’ll give you ideas and you’ll be the ones telling us what you want to read. I hope you enjoy the little voting game and the fic as well xD
