“Omma, wake up!”    You groaned in your sleep as you turned away from the voice.    “Appa, omma, wake up!” The childish voice repeated as you felt a tug on your arm.   Did Jimin leave the TV on? It was incredibly loud.   “Yah, wake up,” A familiar male voice said. “I think SooJin needs breakfast.”   You frowned and opened your eyes to see a very sleepy looking Yonghwa looking back at you. Turning around, you spotted the little girl smiling back at you. Right, SooJin… You had almost forgotten about her.   “Omma, appa, let’s have breakfast, okay?” SooJin smiled brightly at both Yonghwa and you.   “Are we still playing House?” You groaned as you flopped back onto the bed.   “I guess so.” Yonghwa yawned as he got up from the bed and proceeded to drag you out of bed.   You sighed in defeat as you tumbled out of bed and opened the door of Yonghwa’s room.   “I think we have to bring her out for breakfast.” You said to Yonghwa.   “Why? Can’t you cook?”   You glared at him as you walked to the main door. “Whatever we had for dinner yesterday was what was left from my fridge. I don’t have any food left.”   Yonghwa shrugged, “Okay.”   “I’m going back to wash up,” You said tiredly and then turned to SooJin who had been following the both of you like a puppy. “Give unnie 20 minutes, okay? I’ll be down soon.”   “Okay, omma!” SooJin said and nodded. “Be quick okay? Appa must be feeling hungry.”   You cast Yonghwa a weary glance and caught him grinning to himself. You gave a smile to SooJin as you headed back to your dorm and washed up. Jimin wasn’t back and you wondered if she had been back at all. It was only 6 am and you wondered why in the world can SooJin be so awake at this hour. She was only a kid after all.   At 6:20 am, you walked down the stairs to find Yonghwa all fresh and clean waiting in front of his dorm door with SooJin.   “Omma!” SooJin squealed and ran into your arms as you carried her in your arms.   “SooJin-ah, can’t we play another game?” You complained to the little girl.   “Nope.” SooJin shook her head.   Yonghwa looked at you, amused. “Can’t you give in to a little girl? Let her play if she wants to.”   You rolled your eyes at Yonghwa and was about to retort when several loud voices interrupted you. Jonghyun, Jungshin, Minhyuk and Jimin walked up the stairs and as soon as they reached the staircase landing, all four of them raised their eyebrows as SooJin rambled on.   “Omma, don’t fight with appa,” SooJin said, not noticing the four strangers behind her as she stared at you. “I saw appa taking care of you last night. He covered omma with the blanket.”   You glanced at Yonghwa and you noticed him quickly looking away as he cleared his throat uncomfortably.   “How long have we been gone?” Jungshin asked. “Has it been ten years?”   SooJin seemed startled by the intrusion as she fell silent and then buried her face into the crook of your neck shyly.   “Yah,” Jimin stared at you, eyes wide. “When did Yonghwa and you become parents?”   “Don’t be ridiculous.” Yonghwa said to the group. “SooJin is my cousin’s daughter. We’re helping to take care of her.”   “But hyung,” Minhyuk protested. “She called you appa and called noona omma!”   You resisted the urge to roll your eyes. “Minhyuk-ah, we’re just playing House with her.”   “Why are all of you back together anyway? And at this hour?” Yonghwa questioned.   “Ah, after dinner, Manager Kim and some of the staff invited all of us to karaoke.” Jungshin replied.   “Can we stop chatting?” You complained as you shifted SooJin’s weight to your other arm. “I’m not that strong.”   “I’ll carry her.” Yonghwa said as he took SooJin from you.   You expected SooJin to make a fuss but she seemed fine with Yonghwa carrying her.   “The three of you really look like a family.” Jimin remarked as Jungshin and Minhyuk nodded.   You glanced at Jonghyun as you noticed that he hasn’t spoken a word at all. He caught your eyes and you gave him a small smile but he didn’t return one as he looked away.   “Let’s go, SooJin wants breakfast.” Yonghwa said.   “Do you guys want to join us?” You asked the group.   “Nah, go ahead, we’re beat from singing all night.” Jungshin said and waved goodbye. “Besides, the three of you look good together. We wouldn’t want to spoil the happy family picture.”   Rolling your eyes, you nodded and waved as you walked down the stairs with Yonghwa and SooJin. You were thankful that the sun wasn’t entirely up yet as you and Yonghwa pulled your caps over your faces. It would be bad if anyone recognized either of you. The both of you brought SooJin to the pancake place the group usually frequented as it was nearer to the dorm. SooJin was on her best behavior and you were glad that she wasn’t crying anymore.   “Can I have an ice cream?” SooJin asked after breakfast as Yonghwa carried her in his arms.   Since she had been good all morning, you agreed.   “I’ll get her an ice cream from the shop there,” You said to Yonghwa as you pointed to the shop across the busy road. “Wait here, okay?”   Both Yonghwa and SooJin nodded dutifully as you crossed the road and went into the shop. You picked out three sticks of ice cream and paid the shop owner just when your phone started ringing in your pocket.   “______, where are you?” You heard Jonghyun’s frantic voice as soon as you picked up.   “I’m at the ice cream shop opposite the pancake shop near our dorms. Why?” You asked.   You could hear the traffic from Jonghyun’s side and realized that he must be out on the streets.   “Someone took a photo of you and hyung just now and uploaded it onto the internet. Thankfully hyung’s face couldn’t be seen.” Jonghyun replied quickly.   “O-Oh, then what’s going to happen now? It’ll be okay right?” You asked worriedly.   “I’m coming to get you and we have to pretend that I’ve been with you all these while.” Jonghyun replied. “If anyone realizes that you’re with hyung or another man, you’ll definitely get into a lot of trouble from the Panda fans and the producers of We Got Married.”   You were about to ask what about Yonghwa and SooJin when the shop door opened to reveal Jonghyun. He seemed to have ran all the way from the dorm as he looked a little breathless.   “There’s a crowd of people forming outside right now,” Jonghyun whispered to you as the shopkeeper glanced at the both of you curiously. “We’re just going to say that we had breakfast together, okay?”   You nodded as Jonghyun led you out of the shop. Camera phones started flashing as you heard squeals. Both you and Jonghyun were stuck at the entrance of the shop and you groaned as you spotted a nosy reporter who was always following CN Blue around. Jonghyun spotted him as well as the reporter pushed his way forward towards the both of you.   “Ah, Panda couple!” The reporter said gleefully. “What are the both of you doing out in the streets?”   “We were having breakfast.” Jonghyun replied politely.   “So, you were the guy that was in the picture with her?” The reporter asked as he took a picture of you and Jonghyun.   Jonghyun nodded and smiled.   “Is there someone else with you?” The reporter asked you.   “Huh?” was all you could reply as you stared at him.   Chuckling, the reporter pointed to your hands, “There are three ice creams yet there are only two of you. Is someone joining the both of you?”   “She bought the ice creams for me.” Jonghyun quickly replied as he took two of the ice creams from you. “She knows how much I love them so she bought two for me.”   The crowd cheered at Jonghyun’s reply as the reporter nodded.   “Since the both of you are not filming an episode now and were caught together, does this mean that the both of you are really dating?” The reporter asked excitedly.   You raised your eyebrows at the reporter and was about to turn to Jonghyun when you notice two pairs of eyes on you across the street. Yonghwa and SooJin were staring back at you. SooJin’s gaze was curious but Yonghwa’s gaze seemed cold and disappointed.    “So are the both of you really dating?” The reporter repeated eagerly and you noticed the crowd had gone quiet. It seemed like everyone was waiting for the answer.   “We’re not there yet.” Jonghyun replied.   “Then why were the both of you out together?” The reporter asked.    You wondered why Yonghwa was still standing there watching. Although he was disguised, it was still very risky for him now that there was a crowd and a reporter around.   “I really shouldn’t answer any more questions without my manager around.” Jonghyun replied with a polite smile.   He then took your hand and led you out of the crowd as you heard the camera shutters going off furiously. You noticed that a FNC van had arrived as Manager Kim hopped out of it and pushed the both of you in. The van took off as you glanced at Jonghyun guiltily.   “Jonghyun-ah, I’m sorry,” You said. “I didn’t know things would spiral out of control.”   Jonghyun had a troubled look on his face as he turned back to you, “You have to be more careful next time.”   You nodded and then noticing the melted packet of ice cream on your hand, you looked up suddenly, “Yonghwa is still there!”   “Hyung can make his own way back.” Jonghyun muttered.   You fell silent as you looked at Jonghyun. He seemed unhappy and you felt sorry as you had caused trouble for him.   “I’m really sorry, Jonghyun-ah.” You said softly. “Is there any way I can make it up to you?”   Jonghyun stared at you for a moment just as the van came to a stop outside your dorms. The both of you stepped out and went into the building.
