Poise: Premeditated Revenge

Introduction:

Revenge is a deadly disease. If you don't heal your mind and body once you contact it, you will forever lose your heart and soul.

How to prevent the disease:

1) Let go of your past. Let go of your hatred. Let go of your stress.

2) Live in the present. Live in the world. Live in the moment.

3) Look for a better future. Look for a better day. Look for a better life.

Never use revenge as an excuse to seek justice because in the end, the only person that you are hurting is yourself.

In order to live in a balanced world, one must keep two important principles in mind: to forgive, and to forget.

Synopsis:

Version 1-

It has been exactly one year since my departure from the South. Only a few can still remember the name Im Yoona, or at least the student/vampire-slayer that I was before. I find myself unlucky because I tend to draw unfortunate mishaps to my family and friends. My mother, father, aunt, uncle, cousin, and friends were all victims of the merciless vampires. To be on the safe side, the only friends that I still have are hundreds of miles away. Following my resignation at the Poise Agency, the vampires are no longer attacking my old colleagues, and the lives of the innocent people. Instead, they are on a nonstop mission to hunt for the girl, who supposedly is still embedded with the Universal Powers. I shall never return the powers back to their kind. If they manage to gather all these powers, there will be no hope for the future of all humanity.

Version 2-

Starting college is one of the most difficult new beginnings for young adults; hence, it is even tougher for someone like Im Yoona, without family nor friends, to start college without full support. Vampires all around the world are still hunting for the ex-vampire slayer as they hope to use the powers embedded within her to rule the world. Yoona, who had long transferred those Universal Powers to her human friend, strives to live a normal life. Unfortunately, her wishes are nearly impossible as her cousin-turned-vampire, Jessica, vowed never to leave Yoona alone.

IMPORTANT: towards the end of most chapters, I will have special sections for readers. Be sure read until the end because my endnotes will only help you interact with the story.

Chapter [[Summary]]: This section is a short summary of the things that happened in each chapter. They are not as thorough, so I don't suggest you skipping the actual story itself.

Chapter [[Discussion]]: This section includes my random rambling within the story. My role in this section is not as an author, but as a reader. I will leave questions and topics for your mind to process.

Chapter [[Preview]]: This section is a clue to what will happen in the next chapter. If you are reading my story as a completed fan fiction, then you can just ignore it. As I'm updating, I hope that I'll keep my readers interested by leaving tiny...tiny..hints on what will happen. Sometimes I'm nice enough to tell you what might take place, but never everything.
