I need to talk to you 

No one's POV: 

"Why me?" Kyungsoo asked and Jongin sighed
"Because... because things have finally gone up and I don't know who else to talk to" he replied and Kyungsoo stood there for a minute looking at him. Should he tell Jongin to go away? That it was his fault? Or should he at least hear him out and see what he has to say?
"Come in then" he finally said and moved aside so Jongin could walk in. For a moment the two of them stood there awkwardly because of the argument that had the other day before Jongin followed Kyungsoo into the living room and sat down next to him. 
"What happened to your hand?" Kyungsoo asked when he noticed the bruises  
"I... punched the wall the other day after we had our argument" Jongin replied and blushed when Kyungsoo sighed and got up from his seat.

For a moment Jongin sat there by himself and could hear Kyungsoo moving around in the kitchen before said boy reappeared with a bag of ice in hand 
"What's that for?" Jongin asked 
"There's still a bit of swelling on your hand" Kyungsoo replied and placed the bag onto the bruises, causing Jongin to wince a little
"Sorry" Kyungsoo muttered and Jongin used his other hand to wave the comment away 
"So what's gone up that you needed to come to me?" Kyungsoo asked 
"Well, I dumped Krystal" Jongin began and Kyungsoo nodded
"Word gets around the school, you two were quite the popular topic today. So why did you dump her?" he asked and Jongin told him about what happened the other day.

"And after that I walked away before she could say or do anything" he finished and Kyungsoo sat there nodding before they fell back into an awkward silence
"Say it then" Jongin said and Kyungsoo frowned 
"Say what?" he asked 
"You know 'I told you so' and other stuff like that" Jongin replied 
"I want to, but what use will it be now?" Kyungsoo asked and Jongin nodded
"I'm sorry" he muttered 
"For the other day" he added and Kyungsoo shook his head. 

"I should be apologising, I was the one that started it all with the jealousy thing" he replied
"So we're both sorry?" Jongin asked and Kyungsoo nodded
"Can we be friends again then?" Jongin asked and Kyungsoo rolled his eyes before smiling 
"Yes I guess we can be friends again" he replied and Jongin smiled before nodding his head 
"Anything else that's gone ' up' you want to talk about?" Kyungsoo asked and Jongin paused 
"My dad finally showed up" he replied and Kyungsoo's eyes widened 
"Really?" he asked and Jongin nodded. 

*flashback*

"No you need to leave before he gets back" his mum said from the living room and Jongin frowned as he walked into the house 
"Everything alright in here?" he asked 
"Jongin" a voice said and when Jongin looked his eyes widened 
"What is he doing here?" he asked, pointing to his dad who was sat down 
"I just came to visit" his dad replied 
"What makes you think I want to see you?" Jongin asked. 

"Jongin please-"
"No mum! He's been gone from this house since I was two years old what makes you think I want to see him now?" Jongin asked 
"Young man that is no way to speak to your mother" his dad said sternly and Jongin turned to face him 
"You can't tell me what to do. What makes you think I'll take orders from you?" he asked 
"Jongin stop it now" his mum said and Jongin sighed before sitting down 
"Your father is here because he's visiting his parents" she added
"And let me guess, he's done it so many times before right?" Jongin asked, turning to his dad who dropped his gaze to the floor. 

"Jongin pl-"
"No, you've been coming to visit grandma and grandpa for years and yet never once came to visit us. Let me guess remarried with kids? Growing up all the kids at school would pick on me, asking me where you were, saying you didn't love me and at school now sometimes they call mum a because she had me and you weren't there! Now you want to come back and try to act like nothig happened? Forget it" Jongin said and got up 
"Jongin just hear him out" his mum said 
"No, he's had fourteen years from the day he left us to try and patch things up. Every New Years Eve I would stay up until midnight waiting for him to come back and stop the bullies... but now it's to late!" Jongin replied and walked of to his room.

"Let me go talk to him" his dad said but his mum shook her head 
"No, please, just leave it for today" she said and went up to speak to Jongin herself. 

*end of flashback* 

"So is he back permanently now?" Kyungsoo asked and Jongin shrugged his shoulders 
"Couldn't care anyway" he replied and Kyungsoo sighed
"What if he was just... afraid to come visit you because he was afraid of all the time he lost with you?" Kyungsoo asked 
"But all this time he was visiting my grandparents and didn't come visit me once" Jongin replied
"Because he was afraid you would react the way you did" Kyungsoo said and Jongin fell silent 
"Look I know you probably hate him but he is your dad. Without him you wouldn't be here, I'm sure he regrets ever leaving you guys but he had his reasons. So what if he moved on? He's back now to make it all up and make up for that lost time" he finished. 

"Where are your parents?" Jongin asked and Kyungsoo sighed 
"They're with my aunt in hospital. Her waters broke but her husband is in the army s-" Kyungsoo began but froze when Jongin suddenly pressed his lips onto his own. For a moment Jongin just sat there kissing him and wanted Kyungsoo to kiss back... before he realised what he was doing and suddenly pulled away 
"S-sorry" he said jumping up from the seat and walking to the front door
"I'll catch up with you soon" he added and walked out the house. 

As for Kyungsoo? He sat there shocked! He wanted to go after Jongin but sat there rooted to his spot... Jongin... his best friend and the straight guy... had just kissed him...

I had to double update! I was going to leave this for tomorrow but then I realised that I was out at a wedding fair tomorrow (ooo fancy) and was worried I would forget what I was going to write in the meantime.
