No one's POV: 

"Come on Joonmyun, get up or you'll be late for school" his mother said the next morning as she walked into Joonmyun room to find her son still in bed 
"I don't feel well" he muttered causing his mother to frown
"Really?" she asked and Joonmyun nodded
"Well if you want I can go to school and pick up any work you'll miss today" she added but Joonmyun shook his head 
"Then you'll be late for work" he muttered and his mother smiled 
"Well is there a friend of yours at school who can pick the work up and drop it over?" she asked and Joonmyun paused... friend... 
"Joonmyun?" his mum asked and Joonmyun slowly sat up. 

"I guess there is someone" he finally said and his mother nodded
"Great, tell me their name and I'll ring the school to sort it out"...

"What's wrong with you?" Jongin asked when he saw Kyungsoo staring at the empty seat at the back of the room
"Joonmyun isn't here" he replied and Jongin frowned 
"So he's not" he muttered and turned his attention back to Chanyeol and Sehun. For Kyungsoo this was odd, very odd. For as much as he could remember, Joonmyun had never missed a day of school. One time he actually came in even though he had the flu and had to keep running to the toilet because he felt that he was going to be sick! So why was he missing school today? Was it because of their argument yesterday? Nah, not even girls would miss a day of school because they argued with their best friend and now they're not talking to each other... so what was it? 

"Kyungsoo" Chanyeol shouted, causing said boy to jump 
"What?" he asked
"We were wondering if you were still up for afterschool today" Sehun replied but before Kyungsoo could answer, he was called out of the room by the receptionist 
"Kim Joonmyun is not in school today because he's ill" she began and Kyungsoo nodded... it was still strange though... 
"His mother rang in and asked if it would be possible for you to pick up the work he will miss today and bring it over after school" she finished and Kyungsoo frowned 
"But I don't know where he lives" he replied and the receptionist sighed. 

"Stop by at the end of the day and I'll give you his adress then" she said and Kyungsoo nodded before walking back into the class 
"What was that all about?" Chanyeol asked when Kyungsoo sat back down 
"Joonmyun isn't coming in today because he's ill so I have to collect his work and take it to his house after school" Kyungsoo replied 
"Why you?" Jongin asked 
"Because his mum rang up the school and asked if I cold" Kyungsoo replied and Jongin scoffed a little 
"But what about what we have planned?" Sehun whined 
"It will only take a few minutes and then I can meet you guys when I'm done" Kyungsoo replied, rolling his eyes at how childish Sehun was acting.

'I should get up now'  
"But I don't want to" Joonmyun muttered to himself 
'But I smell' 
"A shower can wait" 
'No it can't' 
"But what about my cuts?"
'My fault really isn't it?'

And with that Joonmyun reluctantly got up out of his bed and went to the bathroom for a shower. Carefully taking his bandae of from his arm, he could see that his cuts were now beginning to scab, no doubt that they would leave hideous scars just as the others had done previously... but there was no point in nagging... he bought it on himself. Standing in the shower, Joonmyun let the water hit him and slowly fall down his body until it hit his arm. There was little stinging sensation but it still made Joonmyun cringe. He doesn't even know himself why he cuts himself. It started early and he promised himself that he would give up to spare his mother and father the possibility of walking in on him cleaning himself up afterwards... but it became an addicting habbit and he just couldn't stop... especially when he switched schools and everyone him there.

Thinking back on his life and everything he had done so far, Joonmyun felt disgusted with himself... all he had done was cover himself with horrible scars, build up a reputation of being the geek that anyone could bully... and the fact that nobody wanted to be his friend... resting his head against the wall, Joonmyun sighed before tears began falling down his cheeks and he started to cry.

'Please be the right house' Kyungsoo thought to himself as he raised his hand and knocked on the door. Waiting for a few moments, the door finally opened and a woman stood there staring at him for a moment before she recognised his school uniform 
"Oh you must be Kyungsoo" she said happily and Kyungsoo nodded 
"Y-yeah I have some work for Joonmyun" he replied and handed the work over to her 
"Thank you for this" she began and Kyungsoo nodded 
"You know, Joonmyun has never mentioned you and yet you were the first person he said when I asked if there was anyone" she continued 
"R-really?" Kyungsoo asked and Joonmyun's mum nodded before she leant in. 

"Plus you're really the first... friend... he's ever mentioned. We've moved around a lot and Joonmyun he's had trouble settling down and finding friends. We've tried asking him but he just doesn't talk... but I think now that I've met you he'll open up more" she finished and Kyungsoo nodded 
"Here's hoping" he replied and with that the two of them said goodbye before Kyungsoo went to meet Chanyeol and Sehun. Whilst walking down, Kyungsoo walked with a frown on his face... so Joonmyun had, had this trouble in past? Is this why he is the person he is now? Are there knock on effects from this?
