(Monday)

‘Today is so quiet’ Che-rin thought as she entered the practise room. All the girls had gone to their dorms since it was past 10pm. Lately, Che-rin wasn’t able to practise her singing as much because of a certain ‘someone’. Che-rin locked the door behind her and checked to see if anyone had followed her. If someone did then they would have surely snitched on her. She walked over to the far end of the practise room where a piano was placed. She quietly, making sure not to make much noise, took a seat and got out her music sheets from her bag. The window was open and the full moon brought in enough light so she didn’t bother turning the lights on.

”Nothing better” she whispered to herself as a small smile appeared on her lips. It was her most favourite song of all time. There wasn’t an exact reason as to why she loved this song so much but, it just gives her a tingling feeling in her heart. Like heart strings are being pulled. She placed her delicate fingers on the piano keys and started to play. She started to sing quietly as the course came along.

Che-rin was slowly playing and singing along when suddenly there was a knock at the door. She turned to face the door and she saw someone trying to fiddle with the door knob outside, through the glass on the door. She took a breath in and released it out. Standing up, she walked over towards the door. ‘just wait…I’ll beat the out of whoever snitched’

(Outside)

 “What are you doing up at this hour?!” Mrs Jung shouted as she saw Eunji trying to open the door. Eunji turned around shocked to see the teacher walking towards her. ‘What should I do?’ she thought to herself. She came to practise her singing for the test tomorrow but then realised there was someone in the room already.

“umm…teach I-I couldn’t sleep because noise was coming from this room…s-so I came to check who it was a-and seems like someone is in here” she lied to cover up that she was also up past hours. Just then the door opened revealing Che-rin’s shocked expression. ‘Not Mrs Jung again’ she thought to herself and mentally pulled at Mrs Jung’s hair.

“PARK CHE-RIN! How dare you be up at this time and even wonder around in the practise rooms?” Mrs Jung shouted.

“DETENTION! FOR THE BOTH OF YOU!” Mrs Jung added before Che-rin could say anything.

 

“Both?” Eunji questioned and a smirk developed on Che-rin’s face. Mrs Jung ignored her question and ordered both of them to go back to their dorms. The enemies of the academy forced to sit in detention together, this was sure to be tomorrow’s rumour. 

(Tuesday)

“Che-rin are you ready to present your work?” Mrs Jung said looking at Che-rin who had her head down at the desk.

“PARK CHE-RIN!” Mrs shouted as Che-rin looked up from her desk. Her smoky eye makeup smudged a little and hair messed up because of having her head down flat against the wooden desk. She looked up at the seonsaeng-nim with sleepy eyes as the teach gave her evil eyes.

“so I’m guessing you’re not prepared” Mrs Jung said judging by the state of Che-rin.

“oh oh no I have prepared” she said lazily and walked up to the front of the class.

“*sigh*”

“are you that sleepy, then you should sleep at night rather than wondering around the practise rooms” Mrs Jung said coldly mumbling in her own mouth.

“your good at mumbling  seonsaeng … can I start now?” she said as the other girls laughed. The teacher threw the board chalk at Che-rin’s head. It hit but it didn’t hurt, she had gotten used to getting it thrown at her. The music started playing as Che-rin looked up with a blank expression. ‘She hated this song so why should I have to sing it’ she thought. Che-rin could barely open her eyes but she still tried singing.   

“There's a thin line 'tween the dark side and the l-light side baby tonight, It's a struggle gotta rumble trying to find it” she sang missing out bits. Everyone started giggling. When Che-rin couldn’t take it anymore she threw her mike on the floor which made everyone gasp in silence. Everyone knows what happens when people get on Che-rin’s nerve.

Che-rin stopped the music and turned to look for the person, who’s voice could be heard within the silence.

“Park Che-rin?” Mrs Jung questioned.

“look at who ant sing……told you she passed the auditions because of her uncle…just connections no real talent” Eunji said laughing.

“yah do wanna die?” Park Che-rin said as she stood right in front of Eunji’s desk.

“what did I say something wrong” Eunji replied.

“Park Che-rin will please go back and sit down… you can have another go…………later………stop that!”

  Che-rin slapped Eunji as other girls in the lass watched in total shock. Che-rin kicked Eunji’s desk and pulled at her hair. A weird feeling went buzzing through her body as she started crying and hitting Eunji. This wasn’t the first time someone had said that she got in threw connections but this time it was Eunji………someone who she can’t stand even for a second.

Mrs Jung ran over to the two girls who were literally fighting. One pulling ones hair and the other slapping. Mrs Jung pulled Che-rin back as another girl pulled Eunji back.

 

“Let me go!” Che-rin shouted as she tried to get out of Mrs Jung’s arms. A few seconds later, both of the girls had calmed down and Mrs Jung took Che-rin to the principal’s office.

(Wednesday) (Mrs Jung’s meeting with lee Soo man at sm building)

“So your saying she lost her temper and hit another student” lee soo man said as he took another sip from his coffee.

“Yes and I don’t think we can take this lightly………” Mrs Jung said as she fiddled with her hands. She knows that Che-rin is lee Soo man’s niece, saying that she wants her expelled might get Mrs Jung fired    

“So you’re saying we expel her?” he said getting strait to the point.

“Ummm…neh” she looked up worried.

“look I don’t think I can expel her because she is truly talented……all she needs is a bit more training that’s all” lee Soo man said as he looked through some files on his desk. This is what Mrs Jung expected.

“we can’t just leave the issue sir”  

“how about we send her to the boys training academy? Some of the guys with really good voices, could help her a lot”

“Yeah yeah we should do that”

“but a girl in a boys training facility…… no this could work out, we ould give her her own dorm……” lee Soo said as he put his files away and looked up at Mrs Jung who was smiling a lot more than before.

“so what do you think?”

 

“neh I completely agree” she smiled and then mrs jung and lee soo man sat to discuss Che-rin’s schedules.

(Thursday) (School office)

“so I’m getting expelled?”  Che-rin said as she slumped herself onto the office chair and put her legs up onto Mrs Jung’s desk.

“no you’re not…… and take your legs of!”

“don’t want to” Che-rin said as she shoved her hands into her jeans pockets.

“*sigh* your going to be sent to the boys training academy” Mrs Jung smiled as Che-rin kicked her legs of making a pile of books fall. She narrowed her eyebrows and faced Mrs Jung, clutching onto the chair’s arm rests.

“you’ve gotta be fuking kidding!!!!” Che-rin shouted as loud as she could.

“you just…kicked the books you little!” Mrs Jung stood up and ran to pick up the books. Che-rin’s heart beat fastened as she replayed Mrs Jung’s words. *going to boy-school* *boy school*  

 

“*scream!!!*”

(Friday having to go to the boys training academy)
