The Friends
Secret Place
SORA went back to the place where she first met the guy named Jungsoo, but just like the other days, she didn't see him. It's been two months since then.
If not for the pictures and awards named after the guy which she saw in the Engineering Department, Sora would think that Park Jungsoo is nonexistent.
"Are you still thinking about that guy whom you talked about months ago? I haven't seen someone whom you are ecstatic about since then." her friend, Wookie asked her,
"Not really. I'm just thinking about what happened to him." Sora said while looking at the sight infront of her, a couple who are laughing together. The guy's head in on the girl's lap while she's sitting on the grass lawn of their school.
"And I was just wondering why do the students avoided me when I tried to ask about Jungsoo. His classmates didn't say a think and just stared at me indifferently." Sora then said after looking away at the couple and turned her head to Wookie,
"Not only that. I also noticed the girls kept looking at you while we were there." Wookie added and let out a sigh, "Well, don't mind that for now, Sora. Come with me instead, I told Yesung oppa that you will be working with me soon and he said we can celebrate with his friends and have a party." Wookie said and pulled Sora up from the bench,
"Do you think it won't be awkward if I go with you and meet them? Do you think it's alright?" Sora asked her friend in a worried tone,
"You know for a brainy, you got a looot of insecurities, girl." Wookie told her, "I told you, you're going to be fine with them and I promise the boys won't bite you..." she said and scanned Sora's look, "Uh, I hope not."
Sora went to the club where she met Yesung's other friends; Han Geng and Lee Eunhyuk and of course, her professor, Cho Kyuhyun is with them as well.
"This is to celebrate Sora's internship to Seoul Medical! Drink up, you guys." Eunhyuk yelled to the group while raising his glass,
"Congratulations, Sora. You really deserve your position. But mind you, a lot of struggles will come to your way now. You can't just ask someone to help you out and you have to do things on your own." Kyuhyun reminded her and that made her nod in reply,
"I'm guessing that your professor here is a real terror, isn't he, Sora." Hangeng commented and chuckled at Kyuhyun, "Don't believe him too much when he's not in his lab gown. He's a video game freak too, you know."
"Yah, Hangeng! Don't say such things to Sora. That might destroy my image as her professor!" Kyuhyun whined at his friend,
"Wuuu! Sora's part of the group now and she's a friend to Yesung's girl and so as yours. You don't have to keep those from her. I'm sure she won't tell anything to anyone." Eunhyuk said and looked at Sora, "Right, Sora?"
"Wait, what are we going to do after this? Are you going to see your partners?" Hangeng then asked afterwards,
"Are you planning to go out for a date or something, Hangeng?" Eunhyuk asked with a teasing tone on his voice,
"Not really. But I'll be spending the night with Hee later. She's been asking me to come over, I asked if I can see you guys first though, so there's no need to rush. How about you?" Hangeng replied to Eunhyuk,
"I don't have any plans like that and if Sora here doesn't have a date tonight then, I'll be that man for her." Eunhyuk replied and winked at Sora,
"Do you want me to call Hae up and let's find out what kind of date are you going to get?" Kyuhyun asked Eunhyuk that made the guys around the table chuckle,
"I'm just kidding, Kyuhyun. You don't have to call my lady love and I won't do anything to your precious student." Eunhyuk said and pouted his lips,
"I'll not go anywhere if you ask me. Wookie is right here beside me already." Yesung just said and placed his arms around Wookie, "But I do have an idea where all of us can go."
"And where is that?" Eunhyuk asked,
"Why don't we all go and visit hyung? It's seldom for us to be complete like this and I think he'll be glad to see us complete." Yesung suggested,
"Would that be alright? I mean can he..."
"I think that would be fine. He's quite stable the last time we saw him and all we're waiting for is for him to wake up." Kyuhyun replied and turned to the two girls with them, "Do you want to go?"
Sora and the others went ahead to the hospital, Seoul Medical Center. Kyuhyun was greeted by the other doctors there while the nurses squealed for Kyuhyun's friends.
The thought of her working there gave Sora the feeling of excitement... but also her nerves are creeping up on her and that she doesn't know why...
