At an Omiai agency there sat an old couple, seemingly around their early fifties. They were looking through pictures of candidates for their own child. 

"Honey, what about this one?" The old woman said, looking up at her husband through her glasses 

"Hmm, out of the others this ones the best in terms of looks," Her husband glanced down at the picture and then at his wife, "let's decide after a lunch break. Looking at all these potentials makes me feel hungry."

"Alright. I say we go to that cafe we always go to" she straightened up and smiled

On the other side of town there was a very cute cafe, frequented by young couples. There worked a very boisterous part timer. 

"Sungmin ah, one strawberry shortcake slice for the customer at table fourteen and one vanilla covered bagel and hot chocolate for table number five." An employee said to the younger part-timer 

"Yes, thank you" Sungmin, the boisterous part time waiter for SnowBear Cafe, said. 

It was just the beginning of a busy morning, but Sungmin could handle it. In a few minutes he would have to leave and make his way to school, otherwise he'd be late on the first day.

"Hyung, I'm going to go now. I'll be back tomorrow again" Sungmin said to a man slightly older than him as he took off his apron and work clothes. 

"Alright, have a good day and take care" the other replied 

The rest of the day continued like normal, going to classes and doing homework. At around 6:30 when Sungmin was hungrily eating his dinner while watching tv, his cell phone rang. Swallowing the piece of chicken he had been chewing on, Sungmin quickly answered the phone. 

"Ahem" he said, clearing his throat "Hello, Sungmin speaking" 

"Hi, Sungmin, this is DBSK Omiai company you have been chosen by a family, please attend the meeting tomorrow at 9:00AM inside of Irodori under the reservation Cho. Would you like me to repeat any of the information" 

"Uh wait who are you? I don't remember filling out an application??" He asked quiet puzzled. Omiai? Him? When? 

"We are the Omiai company, DBSK. We receive reqests and submissions online and in person for people who want to get married and are looking for potential partners. Your information was submitted on October 12, 2011 at around 3:36 AM. Since then, this is the first time you've been chosen. Please do attend the meeting. Otherwise there will be a 1,000,000 won fine." 

"1 MILLION WON FINE? oh my gosh no, please repeat the information when I get  paper and pencil" Sungmin said frantically abandoning his dinner and searching for paper and pencil 

After the phone call, the Sungmin tried to remember what he did on the 12th of October. He sat at the dinner table once more and continued to eat. 

October 12, 2011, October 12 what's on October 12? Oh wait, oh no that was that one year where we celebrated Henry's birthday two days late and oh my god! I must've drank alcohol. 

I must've been really drunk when I applied, ugh stupid clouded thinking. Damn it why did I drink so much that day? I was thinking about applying but I wasn't expecting anything. I know I can't support my brother on my own, not when I have so much debt building up and with his medical fees and the debt mom and dad left us in... I'm basically desperate. I just hope the other person is rich, well that's most likely the case because we're holding a meeting at Irodori. Those kinds of restaurants are the kinds I dream of going to. Hm

Hopefully whoever I meet is a good person because I don't want to deal with a rotten personality. Holy , I need to pick up my outfit for tomorrow. 

"Sungmin Hyung~ I'm home" a voice called out from the front door
