It was already afternoon when the members finished the nametag hunt at Daegu Stadium. The teams have also been chosen and everyone was already having their lunch at the resting spot that the staff has prepared. The guests, IU and Bongsun, were eating comfortably with the members since both beings have worked with several of the members in the previous years.

Bongsun, as usual, was sticking close to Jongkook who she claims to be her ideal man. Everyone knew this fact about the female comedian, but this didn't go unnoticed with Jihyo. It was okay to her before that Bongsun would cling at the Commander and hold his hand without consent but this act that the comedian was showing was now getting on the actress' nerves. Whenever she saw Bongsun staring at Jongkook and doing acts like she was the man's lover, she would roll her eyes and divert her attention to the food she was consuming. Jongkook in the other hand was too kind to tell Bongsun off. He was already used to how Bongsun was around him but he made it a point to always keep her at arms length when their paths crossed. 

When lunch was over and some of the members decided to take a rest, wanting to charge their energy before the next half of the show, Jongkook and Kwangsoo were seated where the table was set, munching on some fruits the staff has provided as dessert. As soon as no one was around, Kwangsoo looked at the Commander with curious and immediately asked the question that was gnawing on his brain.

"So ho was the date?" The tall man whispered.

"Hmm?" Before Jongkook could answer, he looked around the area to see if anyone could hear their conversation. "Do you really have to ask that now?" The Commander chuckled.

"Well I couldn't help notice you continuously glancing at noona while we were eating." Kwangsoo grinned as he took a watermelon slice and stuffed it in his mouth.

Jongkook couldn't help but smile at the memory of the "date" he had with Jihyo. The feeling and the atmosphere he felt on that evening was surrounding him once again. Looking at the tall dongsaeng, Jongkook took a grape and popped it in his mouth before clearing his throat and fiddling with the side of the fruit plate.

"Well?" Kwangsoo pushed.

"It was the best date I ever had." Jongkook grinned, chuckling at himself.

"Jinjja? Wae?" Kwangsoo asked excitedly as he scooted closer to the Commander.

"Ani." Jongkook shook his head. "It's a memory I want to dwell on myself. I don't kiss and tell you know." The Commander grinned and took another fruit, taking a bite of it.

"Aish.. Arasseo. But I bet it was something good since you don't want to tell me." The tall man said as he reached for a water bottle and took in a welcome sip. 

Jongkook grinned and stood up, stretching his limbs. "To feed more to your curiosity, it was good." The Commander said before leaving the once again curious giraffe on his seat.

As the episode ended, everybody clapped on having done a good job with today's episode. The trip to Daegu and the missions made were no joke, making the members give praise to the staff that had made the episode possible. Everyone was already getting ready to leave when Jongkook got sight of Jihyo. The actress was on her way to a near by convenient store when the singer followed suit and nudged her, grabbing her attention.

"Omo! Oppa!" Jihyo smiled when she saw the Commander. "Did you want to buy something too?"

"Ne. I was gonna buy some drinks for the way home." Jongkook explained but in reality, he just wanted to be with the actress.

Walking inside a 711 store, the two runners scanned the items, looking for what to buy. Jongkook headed towards the drinks section and took out a bottle of water and 2 bottles of red bull as well. Jihyo on the other hand had a basket filled with junk food and some candy before heading towards where Jongkook was.

"Oppa, too bad we won't be hanging out today." Jihyo frowned as she reached for bottles of coke from the fridge.

"I know right? But there is always a next time." Jongkook said, his voiced enveloped in mild sadness.. "But do you wanna hang out tomorrow? What's your schedule?"

"Jinjja? I have some shooting from 7am to 3pm." The Ace answered almost immediately.

"Then maybe we can have gym time?" Jongkook grinned as his eyes locked on the basket Jihyo was holding. "I can pick you up from your place so we'll have time to eat first before we burn out calories."

"Ohhh." The actress sounded interested. "Gym! I miss going to the gym." Giggling, Jihyo grabbed some ice cream as well from the freezer.

Jongkook then cocked his eyebrow at the sight of the frozen treat before facing the actress. "You're going to eat all of that?" He asked.

"Ne. So I can spend a lot of time at the gym tomorrow." Jihyo grinned as she headed toward the cashier to have her items ringed up.

As they walked back to the place their vehicles were parked, Jongkook carried the grocery bag of Jihyo and walked her to her van. Jongkook was feeling a bit sad that he couldn't spend more time with the woman he loves. He couldn't help but blame himself for coming to set late and having Gary as his partner. If I was early enough, Jihyo and I would have spent the whole day together. As soon as they reached Jihyo's vehicle, being the gentleman he is, Jongkook opened the door and placed the grocery bag unto an empty seat.

"Text me when you get home?" He asked with hope radiating from his face. "I want to make sure you get home safe."

"Arasseo, Oppa." Jihyo smiled, obliging willingly. "You too okay? Remember, we're like each other." She grinned and waved, saying her goodbyes before closing the door.

Jihyo couldn't help but feel giddy as the doors closed, parting herself from the Commander. As her van took off, she looked around, searching for Jongkook's van and eyed is until it was no where in sight. Her heart couldn't stop pounding, her smile never left her face even when they were already at the highway. Kim Jongkook, her best friend, was behind her smiles and butterflies that were floating in her stomach.

The idiotic smile, unfortunately, didn't go unnoticed to the actress' personal assistant. Minhye sat on her side to face the Ace and poked her making Jihyo look back at her PA. 

"Ne?" Jihyo asked.

"You look so happy, Jihyo." Minhye grinned as she leaned in closer. "Is it the Commander?" She whispered their Jongkook's nickname so the driver wouldn't understand what they were talking abo
