You looked around the room; watching the group of boys you'd grown to love so dearly.

A soft smile erupted from your lips while you watched them crack jokes and inspect their presents with far too much excitement.

'Well.' You yawned stretching your limbs. 

'I guess it's time we all get ready to get some shut eye-'

'Oh no no no,  we need to take pictures!' Baekhyun exclaimed pulling you back down as you attempted to sit up from your cross-legged position. You almost fell into Chanyeol who had slid in behind you while Baekhyun snuggled up next to you, Tao snuggling the other side of you.  

'Hyung take a picture!' 

The boys clammered over you while Junmyeon stood up, taking his phone out of his pocket to capture the scene.

'OW!' You could hear people whining while you all squeezed in together.  

'YAH YOURE ELBOW IS IN MY FACE.'

'No just put it on a timer!.' Yixing suggested so Junmyeon could be included in the group shot.  

'Oh good idea.' Junmyeon said placing the phone on the table and angling it so everyone fit in.

'Squeeze in more, it can't fit all of you.' Junmyeon ordered. 

'No, no more squeezing-yah!' Baekhyun exclaimed as Tao dug into his side. 

'Everyone say Kimchi!!~'

'Kimchi~~'

Junmyeon rushed to check the picture, giving everyone a thumbs-up. You all breathed out, relaxing into more comfortable positions. 

'Post it on the group so I can save it.' Tao exclaimed excitedly, Junmyeon nodded, immediately publishing it on the group.

'Ah chin cha I look weird.' Tao whined, inspecting the picture.

'Well we're not taking it again so deal with it.' Baekhyun said shaking his head. 

'Ahhhh....So now you're all going to debut, well, you can't think of me as a friend anymore: I'm one of your managers now - I'm staff-'

'PPPPPPPPPppppffffffffffffffffffffffff you, staff?' Chanyeol muffled his giggles with Jong Dae. 

You tried defending yourself;

'But, well...yeah, you guys have to take me serious-'

'-You've kissed Sehun.' Baekhyun stated, cutting you off. 

'Yep that pretty much sums it up.' Jong Dae shrugged in agreement. 

Your eyes nearly popped out of your head meanwhile Sehun choked on his Coca Cola. 

'And we've seen you pop it and lock it to the stereo.' Jong Dae said, starting to count all of your humiliating moments on his fingers. 

'As well as kiss Duizhang-'

'OK OK I GET IT, JUST DELETE ALL OF THAT FROM YOUR MEMORY, OTHERWISE IM FIRED.' You yelled covering yourself with a pillow from the couch.  

'Yah that's what friends do _____-ah, of course we wont tell anyone!' Baekhyun smiled pinching your reddening cheeks. 

'Yah you're so cute when you're embarrassed.' Jong Dae cooed going in for the kill. 

'Ohhh ____-ah~~~' Baekhyun and Jong Dae sung. 

'No leave me alone - yah - yah Baekhy-JONG DAE!'

It was a stupid picture. 

Your face was bright red;  Jong Dae posed with a V sign holding your hand up in the same position while Baekhyun pretended to bite your ear, hugging you from behind, keeping you anchored to the spot, unable to escape.

Yep, they would never take you seriously. But secretly....you loved it.

'Junmyeon and Kevin you're supposed to be leaders and you don't even help me - guyyyyys!' Kevin and Junmyeon both looked at you innocently, before Kevin began to chuckle, shaking his head. Junmyeon shrugged apologetically, knowing nothing he could say would stop those two from squeezing you between them. 

'Stop it you two.' Kyungsoo said watching the scene in front of him. 

They finally let go. 

'Ahhh thank you once again.' Jong Dae said winking at you. 

'It's fine don't you worry about it you guys! It was my absolute pleasure, now you can go off and debut and leave me behind...'

'-Yah we won’t do that.' Junmyeon said shaking his head. 

'No it's ok, you'll have a whole load of fans and I'll be forgotten.' You sighed trying to sound over dramatic for effect. 

Luhan wrapped his arms around you while Jong Dae rugby tackled you from behind. 

'Wait no fair, me too, yah!' Tao exclaimed jumping and grabbing onto your waist and hugging.

'MMMPH YOU GUYS I CANT BREATH.' You protested, however you couldn't contain the laughter. 

'How could we possibly forget our number one fan huh?' Minseok chuckled grinning.

'Yep exactly!' You felt someone rub your head. 

You couldn’t help but well up. You pursed your lips together, trying to stop yourself from crying.

‘Guyssss, let go, I can’t breathe!’ You whispered.

'Nope we're never letting you go.' Tao said nuzzling into you.

'Well you do realise we have to get up in 5 hours.' You said raising an eyebrow.

They let go pretty quick then.

'Nope deffo need all the sleep we can get.' Chanyeol exclaimed clicking his neck and taking his cap off.

'Jeez you guys.' You tried to act annoyed but instead you were touched. So touched that you had made such amazing friends in such a short space of time. 

'Goodnight Kyungsoo.' You said pulling on Kyungsoo's sleeve slightly. He turned with his wide eyes to look at you. 

'Goodnight.' Kyungsoo replied rubbing one eye while he continued to walk to his room, Jongin slung an arm over his shoulders.

‘Goodnight.’

Sehun slid his hand into yours, squeezing it before slyly letting go.

‘Goodnight Sehun-ah.’ You said grinning at him, he chugged his coke back.

'And in the morning, you will be an official group from SM!' You clapped watching the boys enter their respective rooms.

'How amazing does that sound - finally!' Junmyeon exclaimed smiling.

'Goodnight everyone~.' You called.

'Night.' The boys said filing into their rooms. 

The lights turned off.

You sighed, finally you could shower.

You checked all your messages and set your alarm clock so you would wake up extra early before the boys to pack. You checked the schedule on your phone sent by the coordinators. The boys would officially be debuting in less than 8 hours. That was a scary thought. 

You walked past the living room rubbing a wet towel over your head.

'Oh, Kevin you're awake?' You asked surprised by the fact Kevin was sat on the couch with his phone, legs crossed and feet on the table. 

'Mm yeah, I get better signal here.' Kevin replied flicking through his phone. 

'Ah I see.' You said resting on the couch next to him.

'Oh you took the plaster off and, phew it looks ok!' You said feeling incredibly relieved it wouldn't leave a scar. 

'Yeah it healed pretty fast actually, thanks to you.' Kevin said gliding his fingers over it.

'Pfff putting a plaster on doesn’t mean I did anything, but thank you.' You replied smiling and continuing to rub your wet hair with a towel. 

'Are you nervous or excited?' you asked inquisitively, Kevin locked his home screen and placed his mobile in his pocket before responding;

'I think both to be honest...tomorrow is so important to all of us, I guess I'm a little scared yeah.' Kevin shrugged lightly before combing his fingers through his hair. 

'Just be yourself, everything should be fine.' You replied resting your head back on the couch.

'By the way, I read the note.' Kevin added, changing the subject.

You sat straight up.

'What?' 

'The note in the sketchbook....it was really thoughtful. I'll take care of myself though don't worry.' Kevin said sitting back and relaxing. 

'Oh the note! Wah I was hoping you'd read it while you were in China. I hate writing soppy, sentimental stuff.' Kevin chuckled over your flustering.

'Nah it was nice, thanks.’ He said reassuringly.

'Thank you...for caring.' His eyes met yours, you couldn't help but feel nervous. It was so dark around you - only the street lights from outside lit up the apartment; drawing silhouettes around both of you.

Kevin broke eye contact, shyly looking down.

‘Do you notice we always speak in English?’ you pointed out, Kevin raised his eyebrows.

‘Oh yeah, I guess it’s a habit.’ He replied smiling.
