The mood of the boys lifted after Junmyeon's rallying speech. 

You all decided to enjoy the time you had together before debuting rather than worrying about the future. 

And so, here you were;

The boy's hairs once again had changed; Kevin became a lighter blonde and Luhan turned more of a golden shade. Minseok's hair altered to a tinted brown, and the stylists allowed Kyungsoo's hair to grow on the sides. You could hardly keep track of the little changes made to the boys appearance wise, you stopped keeping track and let them get on with it; they were all good –looking nonetheless.

The albums were coming along nicely and you were lucky enough to witness the dance practices of their title song called 'MAMA' and their B side - 'History'. 

You were just as excited and ecstatic for their debut as they were - the songs sounded great, the dances were awesome - and you constantly reminded them how amazing they would be when they finally debut.

You walked out of your bedroom in the morning feeling chipper. 

'...do you guys want to come?' You heard Kevin ask putting his jacket on, he looked ready to go out. 

'Naaahhh, it's too cold outside, next time~' Jong Dae whined shaking his head on the couch, watching TV with Luhan and Minseok.

'Morning, oh where are you guys going?' You asked checking your mobile for updates the managers might have sent you. 

‘Morning ______-ah~’ The boys on the couch chimed in unison, turning to wave before looking back at the TV.

'Han river, going to cycle around and relax before whatever we have to do schedule-wise later on.' Kevin replied zipping up his coat and putting gloves on. 

'Oh I've never been to that river, I always wanted to go but I never had the time, I heard it's beautiful.' You said excitedly, resting on the sofa arm.

'______, please come with us then!' Tao exclaimed emerging from his room and zipping up his coat. 

'B-but, it's ok, I don't want to intrude-' You blushed waving your hands around nervously.

'-you won’t seriously, come with us.' Kevin invited, checking his pockets for his wallet. 

'You know we'd love to have you~' Tao added trying on two different beanies.

'Wu Fan, this or this?' He asked concerned. 

'The black one - yeah.' Kevin replied looking up from his phone and nodding at the black one. 

‘Thanks a lot, I’ll come with you guys then, oh, where are the others??' You asked scanning the apartment for the rest of the boys before grabbing your coat.

'Oh they're at vocal training, had to be there for 5:00am sharp to record some backup vocals and adjusting stuff for the albums, Manager Lee picked them up, he said there was no need to wake you up.’ Minseok said momentarily tearing his eyes off the screen.

‘Oh ok, but why aren’t you there Jong Dae?’ You asked zipping your coat up.

‘I did it yesterday, so I’m done for today~’ He replied cutely, waving a peace sign at you before snuggling into the sofa.

‘Ah I see.’ You smiled nodding approvingly at Jong Dae.

'Yeah we're cycling there-oh wait, you don't have a bike.' Kevin said pointing at you.

'Oh shoot I don’t.' You breathed biting your bottom lip.

'Duizhang what will we do?' Tao asked tugging on Kris’s sleeve.

'Hire a bike for two people.’ Luhan suggested shrugging his shoulders.

'Ok, I'll ride with _____-ah.' Tao exclaimed, trying to cover up his excitement by shrugging at the end of his sentence.

‘Fine, see you guys.’ Kevin said walking out the front door. Tao grabbed onto your hand and pulled you to the door.

‘Bye guys, do you want us to bring you anything?’ You asked politely before you left.

‘Nah we’re fine, bye~~’ The boys said waving, you shut the door behind you.

The conversation from then on switched to Mandarin since Tao was more comfortable with it. 

You’d managed to rent a two-person bike for the day. However this bike only enabled one person to pedal, and the other person acted as a passenger with a little back cushion to sit on.

'Just hold onto me, then I can peddle faster and not worry about you falling off.' Tao instructed since you felt shy holding onto him from behind.

But his words brought reassurance, come on, you were friends; it was fine.

You leaned against Tao, wrapping your arms around his waist, you definitely enjoyed the back hug too much; Tao’s body heat emitted through his jacket, it made you feel warm and safe. You nuzzled your chin against his shoulder and relaxed, feeling the semi-breeze blow on your face.

However, after a few minutes of cycling, Tao began to feel the strain of peddling for two;

'Aish it's so hard, wait Duizhang aahhhhh.' He whined peddling up a hill. You couldn’t help but fluster;

‘I’m so sorry Tao, I’ll get off-‘

‘-no, no I don’t want that it’s just…aish…ahh I don’t want to sweat – DUIZHANG!’ Tao whined throughout the ride. 

Kevin continued to chuckle and ignore his whining puppy.

'Aish, wa-wait-woah!' Tao exclaimed, he lost his footing;

*crash*

Both you and Tao had fallen off the bike, your limbs entangled around each other while you lay on the cycle path. 

'Are you two ok???' Kevin asked panicking, he immediately got off his bike and rushed over to you both; watching you try to untangle yourselves from each other and failing, you both rested your heads on the path, trying to regain a normal breathing pace. 

'Are you hurt?' Kevin asked watching both of you.

'I think I hurt my .' Tao complained squinting.

'Pfffffff.' You couldn't help it, you tried to suppress the laughter but it made it worse;

It was somehow all so funny to you; you were entangled in a soon to be kpop idols legs, lying on a bicycle pathway with a concerned, big friendly giant staring down at you both looking aloof. 

'W-wwwwhy are....hahaha, why are you hahahaha.' Tao initially looked shocked before catching your infectious laugh and beginning to laugh himself. 

And very soon Kevin found himself watching you both lay on the floor laughing your arses off like this was the funniest thing in the world.

'______, did you hit your head?' Tao asked dying of laughter. 

‘Hahahahaha, maybe I did hahahaha.’ You said rubbing your stomach, it hurt to laugh so much.

Kevin couldn’t help but begin to chuckle at the sight of you two, he reached his hands out to both of you, and helped lift you up. 

'Zitao go on my bike, I'll cycle with _____.' Kevin instructed pulling up the two seater bike.  

Tao stared at Kevin in disbelief. 

'Duizhang, if I couldn't do it, you definitely wont.'

'I'll be fine.' Kevin said sitting on the front seat.

You and Tao both met each other’s gaze before shrugging and following Kevin’s orders.

Of course.

Kevin was ridiculously slow. 

It was painful. 

The energy it took to not burst out laughing from Kevin's heavy panting and painful peddling was unbelievable. 

'Duizhang you're so slow!' Tao exclaimed cupping his hands over his mouth and shouting from miles ahead. 

'Kevin...if it's easier, I'll just get off and walk...that might be faster.' You offered feeling embarrassed over Kevin’s struggles.

'No it's fine, I offered.' He began to sweat, lifting his legs and peddling hard to catch up with Tao.

'We're almost there anyway.' Kevin added looking ahead.

Tao decided to come back and ridicule Kevin some more by cycling in circles around both of you.

You couldn't help but giggle along with Tao who noticed you were laughing, so he continued to show off.

 You waved at him behind Kevin, trying to suppress your giggles.

'Wait stop, I'll take a few pictures~' Tao exclaimed whipping out his phone and zooming in, getting a better view of Kevin's struggles. 

'No, stop, stop.' Kevin muttered trying to cover his face and look away while he struggled, panting. 

However you were up for it; pouting and posing behind Kevin, pointing at him and pretending to laugh behind his back, then another where you did the casual peace sign, smiling brightly, then another where you wrapped your arms around Kevin and back hugged him, posing for the camera and smiling.

'I’m putting this straight onto the group chat' Tao pronounced, playing around on his phone.  

He posted the pictures with captions under each one;

Then Tao ended with a selfie of himself;

'But I look cuter~'

All three of your phones buzzed, Tao checked the group chat first:

Chanyeol: DON'T MOVE IM COMING

Baekhyun: No you're not idiot, how are you going to get out of vocal training?

Chanyeol: well we're on a break I COULD MAKE IT IF I RUN

Kyungsoo: Our break is 10 minutes; it takes 20 to run to the Han River

Tao: kekeke she's all mine~

Chanyeol: :(

Chanyeol: Next time...

Kyungsoo: You're all idiots.

'Haha Chanyeol's jealous.' Tao laughed tucking his phone away.

'Aish why? He can come next time!' You said
