Chapter 18

Darkness Attacks

Minho found the house that seems to be a black hole. He can’t feel anything in it. He looked on the window and saw a woman walking past it. And then she stopped and looked out at him. The woman’s eye widen and then it normalized…and bowed at him.

Who is she?

Inside the house Tia went to Lady Gyuri and whispered something.

“Oh…Tia said she saw a man outside. Could it be your 6th member?” asked Lady Gyuri

“Oh…what does he look like?” asked Sunny

“He’s wearing a black robe…” Tia wasn’t finished speaking yet when Sunny nodded.

“Very handsome a bit scary looking cold guy? That’s him all right.” Said Sunny

Tia smiled. “I will invite him in then, My Lady?”

“Yes, He should join us.” Said Lady Gyuri.

The sixth member…what is he like?

Minho entered the house. He was very cautious…his senses do not work in this house. The woman who welcomed him in was the woman he saw in the window earlier.

She’s been looking keenly on him. Is she also scared of him? Well…what’s new? He was told he has a very dark aura.

Minho continued entering the house to the dining room and saw the Circle there. It looked like a feast.

“We reserved a seat for you Minho.” Said Kris

Lady Gyuri looked at the man who just entered.

As the man walked to the table Lady Gyuri started to stand.

Tia went beside Lady Gyuri and whispered something to her.

“I am glad you are all complete. I welcome you…Mister?” asked Gyuri

“Minho. He’s Minho.” Answered Sunny

“Minho.” Said Gyuri “But if you’ll excuse me…I am feeling a bit faint…probably because of being out too long earlier. But please enjoy the dinner.” Said Gyuri with a smile. Gyuri left the room.

“Please excuse me too for I need to attend to My Lady. But if you need anything, just ring the bell.” Said Tia leaving a  glass bell on the table.

“She really is frail.” Said Chanyeol.

“She should go out more often and get more sunlight.” Said Sunny

“Is she a plant? Asked TOP

“Humans need sunlight too.” Said Sunny a bit irritated.

Minho sat on the chair nearest Master Cha.

“This house is odd.” Said Minho

Master Cha nodded.

“I felt something strange too…but I can’t pinpoint what it is.” Said Master Cha “They do look like normal humans though.”

“Sulli looked like a normal human too.” Said Minho

“Yes…that’s true…we need to be careful then.” Said Master Cha

Mistress Muklan sat on the chair in her room…she felt weak all of a sudden.

“I will get a fresh heart for you, Mistress.” Said Adah

“No…not yet…I just need to sit down.” Said the Mistress.

“Mistress…that man who just arrived…his aura…his very essence…did you feel it?” asked Adah.

“I am not certain…but this feeling…”Mistress Muklan closed her eyes. “He could be the one.”

“Mistress! Let’s attack them and take him with us!” said Adah

“No. Not yet. I have not gotten full strength yet and neither do you…they might be a little more powerful than we are. But as I said, we need to shake them…but things will be harder with that man with them.” Said Muklan

“But how can he be with them?” asked Adah “How can someone like him be….is he part of the circle?” asked Adah

“They have hidden him from us.” Said Muklan “for too long.”

“We’ve searched everywhere, Mistress…where could they have hidden him?” asked Adah

“At the Palace…the King is known to have the power to put up a shield over the entire center of the Kingdom. For years we could not penetrate it…Even when the King got weak, the First Princess was able to maintain the shield…they blocked out eyes of the creatures of our kind…but now…they can no longer do that. They have finally sent out what we seek.” Said Muklan

“And if he’s part of the circle…then that’s better.” Said Muklan…a bitter smile on her lips.

Adah smiled too.

“I need you to go somewhere for me, Adah.” Said Muklan

“I’ll go wherever you ask me, Mistress.” Said Adah

“Got to the forest. Just near the border…a lady is there…she’s on her weak state right now. And she’s alone. All her guards…are in this house…I have blocked everything that can connect them to the outside. See if you can get something important from her. Go to the princess. I want you to bring the core back.” Said Muklan

“Yes, Mistress.” Adah then left.

Sulli tried to stand up. Her knees are shaking…

But she needs to know how the Circle is doing.

Sulli closed her eyes…trying to sense where the circle is…but can’t find them…

“Maybe I am still too weak because of the core.” Said Sulli

Sulli decided to just walk on to the village when she felt a gush of wind from not so far away.

“What is that?” thought Sulli…oh no…did Minho come back?

Sulli tried to hide behind a tree…she knows hiding is no use when it comes to Minho…but still…she’s not yet ready to face him.

Sulli took a peak and from the shadows she saw a large creature…slowly turning into…a human?

A woman?

So it’s not Minho.

“I know you are here Princess…I can feel you.” Said Adah “don’t make me destroy a part of this forest just to show yourself.”

That didn’t sound friendly. Who is she? How did this woman know she’s the princess?

The woman raised her hand and fire spread around the forest fast.

Oh no! It will reach the village in no time!

Sulli went out of hiding.

“Put out the fire this instant.” Said Sulli

The woman dropped her hand and the fire was gone.
