“Library?” Jaekyung looked up. Yilin nodded as she gathered her things.

“I have this book I need to finish and an..essay.” She explained. Jaekyun bit her lip and glanced at Yilin then back to Luhan and Suho. For sure, Suho would leave them two.

“But we still have lunch.” She reasoned.

Where’s Hyorin?

“Unnie, what kind of sunbae are you? Stopping me from doing homework.” Nayoung mused before grabbing her backpack.

“See you later, ge, oppa!”

Suho smiled and waved at the younger girl.

Now, the three were left at the table. Jaekyung and Yilin had been together waiting for lunch when Luhan and Suho joined them.

Then Suho’s phone started ringing.

“I need to go, guys. I think Sehun and Kai needs my help. Bye!” And in a flash, he was gone. Jaekyung puffed her cheeks. Luhan’s eyes narrowed at Suho’s back.

“They left us.” He said softly. Jaekyung nodded.

Jaekyung’s brows furrowed, their silence wasn’t awkward, and in fact it was comfortable. Just like before.

She bit her lip, then she heard Luhan sit up.

“I think we should eat without them, let’s go.”

Nayoung smiled to herself.

I’m a genius. That should be my peace offering to unnie.

She settled down on one of the desks and took out her copy of Pride and Prejudice. Truthfully, there was no essay or book she needed to finish.

“So, are you on a hunger strike?” A voice joined her thoughts.

“Not so.” She glanced up, Myungsoo took the seat next to hers.

“Can I join you?” He asked.

“You’re already sitting down.”

Heads turned as they saw Luhan and Jaekyung step in the cafeteria.

On their table, Saemi glared at Jaekyung.

“She’s succeeded again.” She spat. Sekyung glanced at the couple.

“She sure has the guts.”

Jaekyung felt the stares on her back as she walked towards the table, she saw Saemi and Sekyung stand from their seats. She paused.

“What are you doing?” Luhan appeared beside her.

“Uhm, I-”

Luhan glanced at Saemi and her friends. Then they sat down.

“What?”

Jaekyung shook her head and sat down.

“Where are the others?” She asked quietly.

“Kris and the guys have practice, Chen and Baekhyun decided to ditch class.”

Luhan picked up his juice.

“Lay and DO doesn’t like eating here that much and Xiumin’s probably with Chen.”

Jaekyung almost smiled. Old habits die hard, they still did the same thing.

“Luhan,”

He looked at her.

“Why…are you doing this?”

He paused briefly.

“Because….I don’t know. Can…you accept that?”

She almost smiled.

“I guess so. Fair play?”

Luhan smiled and nodded.
