Wolf, the Top Gang
Description
The world was divided, hateful, and ugly.
They lived in an era sometime after cities and the peak of science technology. We call this time period the Dark Era. In DE, the world is a wreck and too many things are corrupted. Male babies are raised until they’re twelve. After that, they are sent out in groups by neighbourhood to embark on the Journey and those who survive that are enlisted to the Army, where they train hard. After three exhausting, stressful years at the Army, at fifteen, they emerge into what are called ‘gangs’. Gangs are classified into three different groups – Top, Middle, and Basic. If you are new, you’re usually chosen by a Basic gang, and if you’re lucky, Middle. If you get picked into a Top gang – which is a very, very rare occasion and practically unheard of to the point some think of it as a legend, as the Top gangs are too arrogant to even look at the rookies – then you’ll be in a Top gang off the bat. Female babies are raised up to the age of five, only to be sold to dwellings with no memories of parents, where they live and learn etiquettes and such until they turn seventeen by a Miss. Then they have to attend a special ceremony, where the gangs choose their Prix, the so-called ritual of becoming a “true” woman.
In this wretched society, females are toys. Women are objectified. Their only purpose is to look after the gang when they turn seventeen. If, by some chance, a female fails to be chosen in their seventeenth year and wishes to try a second time, they can reapply as a eighteen-year-old. If that fails, they’ll be in the lowest of the lowest in the maidens, which has a secret ranking system of their own. Most maidens who were not chosen as Prixes, are demeaned and spat at, but even if you are chosen, you could still be called ‘ugly’ and ‘worthless’, along with several other things that would ruin any girl, especially in DE. Females are in the lowest of the lowest in the society of DE, despite being in charge of several occupations, such as doctors, bakers, bankers, farmers, and more.
And in this type of era, there is a specific girl, stubborn and unique. If she gets chosen by a particular, special gang, what would happen? Intertwined with unexplainable feelings, long-time rivalries, inevitable dangers and risks, along with life- and moral-threatening problems that are unprecedented in a group of teenager’s lives as they struggle to survive while maintaining their reputation, dignity, and health, what does the world have in store for them? Will they get through it all – alive... and happy?

Annyeong~ This is my first fanfic on AFF, featuring OCs (Jinah, etc.) and all of EXO. Here, Xiumin and Jinah don't get along very well, but I don't have anything against our adorable BaoZi! Idk, it was a random idea, and I deployed it haha. Please don't think badly of him! He's such a sweet hyung to s but super underrated ><
+this is going to be a looong story! Also, you can look forward to of Lay/Jinah, Baekhyun/Jinah, Suho/Jinah, Chanyeol/Jinah, Sehun/Jinah, Chen/Jinah, and maybe even more (and Baekyeol) but it's all brotherly-sisterly love. I swear this is a LuhanxOC fic!!

I hope you'll enjoy the drama and action parts too~ Thanks! A l s o, I'm aware that Luhan's last name isn't "Xi". It's just a common surname amongst AFF fics, so I used it too. Han is his first name, but referring to him as just "Han" is awkward. If I mention him as Lu Han, that's also awkward because I don't call Chen "Kim Chen". Both Luhan and Chen are stage names which they use to promote themselves, so I'm using those. ^^ Most of you knew that, but one didn't so maybe another handful may have not known either. In addition, the currency in this story will be in US/Canadian dollars, not Korean won. I'm aware that I have many foreign readers who will find the currency difficult to imagine (as 1, 000 won = approximately $1).
