Little Baekhyun can only pout his lips watching his friend, Jongdae, walking out from their kindergarten school with his four year old little brother. Jongdae’s little brother trips on his own feet and Jongdae immediately crouches down to ask if his little brother is hurt.

“Why are you pouting, Baek?” little Luhan asks. He is Baekhyun’s cousin and always comes to pick Baekhyun up from school with the latter’s mother.

“I want to have a little brother too, Luhan ge,” Baekhyun answers. “I want to take care of my little brother.”

Luhan grins. “Then try to ask for a little brother to your parents!”

When Baekhyun looks over Luhan’s shoulder, he spots his mother walking up to him. Luhan’s suggestion triggers him to run up to his mother and cling onto her left leg.

“Aww~ What is wrong, Baekhyunnie?” his mother picks him up and carries him back to Luhan. “Does our Baekhyunnie want ice cream?”

Baekhyun rapidly shakes his head no. “Baekhyun wants a little brother. Can we buy it instead of buying ice cream?”

Luhan palms his face. “Duh, Baek. We cannot buy brothers. Parents make it… although I do not know how.”

Baekhyun’s mother shots a glare at Luhan but she knows that Luhan is just a kid.

It is almost bedtime when Baekhyun bursts into his parents’ room.

“Daddy! Daddy!” Baekhyun jumps to his father’s lap and wraps his arms around his father’s neck. “Can I have a little brother?”

Baekhyun’s father looks at his wife in confusion.

“He has been at it since this afternoon when I picked him up from school,” she shrugs. “I really have no idea why, though.”

“Baekhyun wants to take care of a little brother~” Baekhyun cutely pouts. “Please make one tonight, daddy, mommy.”

Baekhyun’s father laughs, ruffling his son’s soft brown hair. “Alright, Baekhyun. We will make it tonight.”

Baekhyun and his mom’s eyes widen for different reasons, happiness and amusement.

Chanyeol’s mother can only giggle seeing how Baekhyun swiftly kiss
