“That was some great acting, Rookie!” He exclaimed, clapping his hands in amusement. Mikki immediately wiped the tears on her face upon hearing the unknown voice. She turns around to see a stranger with his eye smile showing because of the wide grin plastered on his face. “Wow, really, I hope you can debut soon so I can officially become a fan.”

What? What the hell is this guy talking about? I wasn’t even acting.. “Who are you?” She asks in a raspy voice.

The stranger stopped clapping and his grin got crooked. “Aww, c’mon Rookie, don’t be like that.”

Mikki stares at him, trying to remember where she’d seen this guy before, because well, he looked awfully familiar.

The stranger was waiting for her to say stuff like, “I was kidding! Of course I know you!” or something like, “Who wouldn’t know you, sunbaenim?” but no. She just stared at him like she was remembering something she didn't know.

“Hyung! What are you doing there? Practice starts in five!” They turn their heads at the faint voice of a boy call for him. The stranger looks back at the rookie and they lock eyes for a couple of seconds before he sighs in disappointment and gives her a warm smile. “Look, I’m sorry. I promise I’ll work harder from now on so that you, Rookie,” he points at her, “would know my name the next time we meet.”

Mikki slowly opens to ask him if he’s mental or something because who the hell is he anyway to talk to her like that?

“I need to go now, okay? Promise me you’ll work hard too so that I’ll know your name even before you debut, okay? Annyeong~” He waves goodbye and leaves her alone.

Without knowing, a small smile formed on her lips.
