Chapter 3: Authornim, I am late to this fic but have been a faithful reader of your other fic.

First of all I want to apologize to you for not reading this sooner. I've watched this relationship grow as we all watched GTOP unravel and I feel like you've captured the gentleness in this relationship that I always expected was there.

I look at who Seunghyun is today and I can see a confidence and gentleness in him that had been missing just a few years ago. He seems genuinely happier in his own skin. I attribute a lot of that to John who I feel has given Seunghyun the space to grow, to expand beyond the box of "Kpop idol" that Seunghyun had lived in for so long.

Doom Dada is a direct result of that freedom - elements from philosophy, classic films and surrealist art with just enough TOP to remind us that he is one of the best rappers out there, KPop or no.

Authornim, I sincerely thank you for taking the thoughts I've held onto so tightly and putting them down in your wonderful style.

It seems like most of the fics I've been reading lately have been filled with the sentimentalism of GTOP and what it once was, afraid to move into the real world where GTOP has become a painful memory for Jiyong but a fond memory for Seunghyun.

Crooked is filled with the kind of pain that never goes away, despite the jumping beats and the chanting chorus.

Jiyong doesn't hide his pain; it all becomes fuel for the KPop beast that must be constantly fed. I watched them together in Osaka in November; seeing the awkwardness at times mated to the easy-going familiarity they once had in abundance. Poor Seungri kept an eye on them, deflecting and distracting when needed. I almost felt sorry for him but realized he was doing it out of love for the two of them as well as to preserve the group's unity.

But I am rambling now, perhaps because of the late hour and the sudden realization that I have to wake up in 5 hours. Please accept my apology and my gratitude..

Wow, I just wanted you to know that this fic was ing magical in every sense of the word! It's a shame you don't want to continue it, but I understand. I just hope you know that despite the lack of size in the Tohn fandom, we are still a strong and resilient people.
IDK MAN. But seriously, you have got such skill. You could literally write a angst fic about a pail and shovel and you'd still make we wanna ship the outta that.

Chapter 3: These are really beautiful! The way you wrote Seunghyun's thoughts is just wonderful, I loved the spider dream and Seunghyun telling Mi-Young what he knows about John. I wished more people would read Tohn, there are so many things that could be written about them. Not to mention they are totally missing out on little gems such as this. Thanks for sharing anyway :D
