Ken

Ken shifted uncomfortably in his seat, watching for class to come to an end so he could meet with Ravi at the boat dock after school. He was so excited. Nothing would be able to stop him; he was daydreaming about it all day. He didn’t get invited to things very often because others couldn’t stand how hyper he was.
The bell rang throughout the class and he was snapped back to reality. He grabbed his things and shoved them in his bag. He hastily got up, bumping into someone and their stuff flew to the ground. He began to pick up the person’s things. “M-Mianhae.” 
He looked up and the girl he saw was the most beautiful person he had ever seen. He wondered why he hadn’t seen her before--was she new?
She grabbed her things from him. “Kamsahapnida...” she said and walked away. 
Ken watched her walk away slowly. He had forgotten all about the dock for a few seconds when he realized what he was doing. He started towards the door of the class, but he was tackled from behind.
“KEN!” someone hollered in his ear.
“Aish, you’re hurting me.” Ken said and Ravi slid from his back.
“What’s wrong with you? You’re usually so happy. What happened?” he smirked. “Did you meet a girl?”
“No...” Ken blushed, changing the subject. “I thought we were meeting at the dock, so what are you doing here?”
“Well, the teacher let us out early for the weekend because we did well on our geometry test... Anyways, let’s go.”
