TOY BOX

“I heard from Anna that you went here for a picnic. So I decided to follow.” Said Minho

“You have work.” Said Sulli

“Yeah…I took a leave.” Said Minho

Sulli can’t believe that Minho will actually take a leave just for a picnic.

“TC Entertainment is your priority, right?” said Sulli

“Yeah…but I want to make it up to Kevin.” Said Minho

“Daddy Ajussi…You came.” Said Kevin a little less enthusiastic that usual

“Yes…Daddy is sorry that I wasn’t able to come yesterday. But let’s have fun today ok?” said Minho brushing the child’s hair with his hand.

Daddy? He called himself Daddy? That made Sulli’s eyebrows stick together.

“You don’t hate me, Daddy?” asked Kevin

“No…No I don’t.” said Minho

Minho saw Sulli looking at him confused                      

“I said the truth…I don’t hate Kevin.” Said Minho

Sulli immediately looked away and continued fixing the food.

She’s still angry.

Minho brought a box with him.

“What’s that?” asked Kevin

“This is my toy box when I was little. I have my favorite toys here.” said Minho

“Toys!!!” Kevin is excited.

Minho opened the box and it is filled with cards with anime robots. He also have some transformer robots. He also had some anime figures.

“Wow….can I play?” asked Kevin

“Of course…I brought them because I want to give them to you.” Said Minho

“For me? This toy box?” asked Kevin

“Yes…this is my gift for you.” Said Minho

“But it’s not my birthday.” Said Kevin

“It’s because I love the drawing you made me last time.” Said Minho

Kevin hugged Minho

“Thank you Daddy Ajussi.” Said Kevin

Sulli doesn’t know what to feel on the scene. Kevin has never been this happy…and it scares Sulli…the way the child is getting attached to Minho is scary. What if he can’t be there always? What if He’ll just be there for today and then let go of Kevin like yesterday?

After a while of playing with Minho, Kevin fell asleep by the tree. Sulli gave Minho a cup to drink tea.

“Thank you.” Said Minho

Sulli sat across Minho.

“About last night…If I sounded too rash about your relationship with Ms. Krystal…I’m sorry. I was just so angry at you for disappointing Kevin.” Said Sulli

“No…I’m supposed to be the one apologizing. Kevin suffered a lot yesterday because of me.” Said Minho

Sulli noticed the sweat on Kevin’s forehead and quickly took a towel to wipe Kevin’s sweat away.

That gentle gesture made Minho’s heart twitch. Sulli…is a good Mom…Her future husband will be lucky.

“Are you ok that Kevin is calling you Daddy?” asked Sulli

“Yeah…He’s calling you Mommy and you’re ok with it, Right?” said Minho

“But that’s because I am claiming to be his Mom.” Said Sulli

“Well…I think I’ll be claiming to be his Dad from now on.” Said Minho

Sulli stopped for a minute to think.

“I want to formally adopt him.” Said Minho

Sulli felt like her arms suddenly do not have energy. Joke or no joke…it’s not something to laugh about.

“You must be out of your mind.” Said Sulli

“Why? I think the best way I can fulfill our deal of me providing for him and taking care of him is if he becomes my son.” Said Minho

“Nobody in your family will ever allow that.” Said Sulli

“Yeah…But I’m seriously considering it.” Said Minho

If Minho adopts Kevin…Sulli will no longer have the right to Kevin.

“Will…Miss Krystal accept Kevin?” asked Sulli

“Krystal seems to adore Kevin.” Said Minho

Sulli looked away and tried to start fixing the things.

“Hey…what’s up?” asked Minho

“Huh? Nothing…” said Sulli

“You don’t like the idea of me adopting him?” asked Minho

“No…I don’t know…” Sulli gave up her pretense. She stood up walked a few steps away from Kevin.

“Hey…what’s the matter?” asked Minho

“If you adopt Kevin…and you marry Ms. Krystal…that will make Ms. Krystal Kevin’s legal Mother…right?” asked Sulli

That stopped Minho

“Yeah…yeah that’s true…but it should not change the relationship you have with Kevin. I just want to ensure that Kevin is going to be provided for…Being my son will ensure that.” Said Minho
